So as the topic says: How to beat the Untrained wielders of the dark side easily with TKM? I only attack 1 at a time, so what should be the best tactic to kill him easily? ( I am TKM, but not master Brawler) Do I need to be buffed or can I take one down with only my Powerboost?

i sic my pets on them and then calmly walk over, knockdown, warcry, ua2 until their done. ive always been buffed and powerboosted when fighting them and have been able to take 3 at a time so far. i also keep neutron pixie, maun gold, and tat sunburn hotkeyed to use in case of emergencies.

How do these compareto Dark Side Savages? Even with pets I can barely get through 1. Seem to resist everything and put me on my back a couple times.

Examine them and look at their stats. Untrained are just that, untrained. They are chumps. 10k HAM AR1 30% resists. I just send in pet then use intimidate, COB, Knockdown/Dizzy and UA2(UA3) till dead. I can kill them single, with PB and Muon but no Doc buffs.

Force Crystal Hunters are 25K HAM AR2 80% resists. They are way tougher. I have to take them out buffed, PB'd and drugged. I use intimidate, COB, then try to Knockdown/Dizzy and just melee till I'm low health. Then I use warcry, run away and hit peace, heal up, and do it again. It takes me 2 to 4 passes to kill one of these guys solo, about 15 minutes and 2 PB/Muon's. They are really not worth fighting.

If I'm with my commando friend, I just intimidate, COB and then he hit's them with singleflame3 for like 809,837,651,735 billion damage and they die.

The secret to killing anything in this game is to have a commando friend

Well, so if you don't got a pet (like me) you can't kill anyone strong? Cause I definitlydon't have any CH skills.

Is creature a must in this game... that sure is not "stae warsy" hehe...

I Have a lesser Plains Bol as a Mount. Worthless as atankl.

I am. Teras Kasi Master(not Brawler Master) Master Medic and i can take some of the bigger FS guys about 50% of the time without Doctors buffs.

DONT burden yourself with Composit You will load down your secondaries un-necissarily.

Prepare Make sure you have what you need. I suggest:

Armor: Ubese Jacket, helmet and Pants at about 80% Kintetic. you get tood HAM slices then go with gloves and boots also. 80% kinetic Protection with all the HAM encumbrance of a Composit Chest allowing you tpo use your specials without doing more damamge to your self than you do him.(Note I dont like armor and go in plain cloths unless up against something bigger)

Food: Vegeprine & breath of Heaven are my favorites. Eat 2 and drink 1 you at +360 to Efficiency stats and +500 to all regen stats add powerboost and all stats will have been boosted Significantly.

Medicine: QUALITY Stim Bs or Cs. I prefere Cs. Ds are overkill unless you use full doctors buffs alot. AT LEAST 1 stack in inventory

Spice: Just say no. (kidding) I keep muon gold hot keyd for emergencies.

Plan of attack:

Dont just do this on the spur of the moment. PLAN for it. Show up clean and sober. no spice or food in your system. Meditate till your wounds are gone. Armor up, get about 60 meters from your target. Powerboost, wait till boost is most of the way done and eat/drink your food. TARGET YOUR OPPONENT(I know it sounds silly). /burstrun if you have it and charge in. (make it quick, they been giving these guys blasters and some of them are getting pretty good)

Depending on your system and connection hit Intimidate 20-30 meters out about 3 times. Anything bigger that untrained and you might as well forget about KDing your opponent.

Status warfare: Stun, Blind, Intimidate, (Warcry if you have +int/warcry clothing) and UH2. DONT SPAM YOUR ATTACKS. 2 or 3 hits ahead is more than enough. the bigger ones hit like a ton of bricks and can do a surprising amount of damage FAST. (was with a group tonight doing the Giant Kimogilla near the Kimo Village and the FS guy there spawned and layed out 3 of the group with 1 hit each)

As soon as you see one of your HAMs drop (Your level has dropped to where you can see the drop on screen) hit your self heal macro (/heal damage self). If your Attack Que is Loaded hit the clear button. The heal takes a place in the Attack Que and if it is loaded can take a long, long time to heal you. Keep an eye onyour targetsstatus. one of your status changes drops, refresh it. Your mind starts to get low(Read 1/2 of the Visible pool on your heads up display). Key your Muon gold and keep going.

Things still get egg shappedpoint over his shoulder and yell "EEK! Its Vader!" and when he turns around to look, Run like youve never ran before. (Sorry couldnt help it)

most important. be rested. take things a step at a time. dont rush, dont get rushed.

Good luck!

Just did this the other night to see if I could. I was 2/1/2/2 at the time. He was a single.

Before the fight I ate a Tat Sunburn, Ryshcate and an Ice Blaster. I dropped a Neutron Pixie and Power Boosted. I was wearing 40% kinetic Ubese without a helmet (around 200 encumb to H and A, much less to mind). No pet. My VKs were on the whole fight and are around 200 max damage.

I'm a master rifleman too - so I started with Mind Bleeds (probably in the neighbourhood of 1200 per tick total) then launched into him with knockdown (which landed surprisingly) and tried a warcry (which didn't). I then tried to land stun, blind and intimidate. Just kept on them until they stuck. Once they all were on him I went with UH2 for a bit - then switched to Unarmed Combo 1 when body and mind were dropping much faster than action.

Things didn't go too badly (he was a swordsman it seemed) until he used force choke late in the fight. I hit a heal at that point (/peace, /targetself, /healdamage, /cycleTargetOut (I think that's the command) on a macro) and he went down soon after.

The choke seemed to do a fair bit of damage - so if he hit it earlier it may have gone differently.

Now I self-incapped twice due to my excesses wearing off - but I wasn't wounded that badly. May have just been lucky though. The mind bleed was extra insurance - but Health and Mind were at about the same level throughout the fight so I probably could have been okay without it.

Hardly worth the trouble to do on a regular basis though in my opinion.

Hiya i am new as a TK"A" (Still Student) and i was wondering.. it sounds like u all use some sort of armor i mean is cloth not good ? from what i understandit sounds like those Dark Siders can only be beaten by a TKA useing armor so what about my TK"A" will he have a chance he is a "Fur Ball" after all.. ??? with means no armor

I don't use any bloody armor save for only a few select situations. The encumbrance just isn't efficient enough for use in our class in most situations.

There is no easy way to defeat any force user as a TKA. Contrary to what some other people like to think, sending in pets isn't beating them as a TKA, that's defeating the enemy as a CH. To my knowledge, there is not any way to defeat them solo purely with TKA skills.

Sorry, but no class was ever meant to be able to defeat any force users solo. So far only CH, rifleman, and CM are the only classes I can think of that can easily defeat a force user.

Any buffed TKM with some basic medic skills can 'easily' defeat a force user. People who try it without armor and then claim that its not possible are just unintelligent I guess. 75% kinetic ubese. Full doc buffs. Keep them intimidated (blind/stun don't seem to do much to them imo). And sit back for a fairly long fight. Just be ready to heal bleeds, those are what will kill you if you aren't careful. Also wear the FULL armor, don't skimp on boots or gloves, otherwise you'll get 1 shotted when they get a lucky hit in there.

Heh heh, notice how people are always so quick to say "with some basic medic skills". The question was how can it be done with just the TKA skills. Anybody can put on some sweet armor and use meds with their buffs and go all day, we are talking about just TKA strategies here, not medic strategies.

One other thing. I know I've been gone for quite a while now, but surely the TKA haven't changed so much in the past few months that we no longer respect each other. Insults do not help anybody, plz keep our forum clean. Just state opinions on the subjects and than back them up with facts in the future. Don't turn this into LFD vs TRW part MXII. I don't have the patience for this again.

untrained wielders are chumps. i used to solo them all the time with just basic composite and stims and warcry before i began my stint as pikeman and master brawler. i've even soloed force crystal hunters the same way. use muon if necessary. any tkm can own these gimps
