Thread: Giving up Trando?
If you're like me, you chose Trando mostly because of the unarmed combat bonuses. If you (theoretically) were to give up TKA, would you start a whole new char to avoid the Trando stat constraints, or would you just deal and keep the character you have?
I know... the scaley feet poking outare killin' me. My pants look like I've tucked them in to trando-skin boots.
I guess my main grief is with my action pool and regen stats. Special moves always hit action the hardest, and Trandos can't get those stats very high.
Yes, if I were dropping tka I'd most likely go with a different species.
However, having said that, how can you people who don't play trandos, wookies, rodians or mon cals deal with the irritating oohs and ows that come out of your human type species while fighting? Not sure if the females are any better but the male sounds like he's a small child being spanked.
Just askingas I have a zabrak and I dislike playing him just because of the noises he makes. Drives me nuts.
Well, been peeking at weapon stats and trandos seem like they would be good at using the health pool heavy weapons - like big axes, powerhammers and the like. they seem to drain the health pool ungodly amounts.
Fencer I might steer clear of, as far as I can tell they fencer weapons drian each pool pretty much the same. If I am wrong please correct me =)
Pikeman - seems trando action stats are a tad low. Maybe the high end polearm weapons are like the heavy swords - I can't find stats on them.
Just my quick input. Been dabbling in other melees - or trying to, but am still in the brawler stage so have only been able to go by what I find posted in the various profession forums.
If you really want an easy path, I'd say just go pistoleer. I don't think I am have seen an unhappy pistoleer, period. They don't seem to get nerfed much either. They got their knockdown ham costs 'increased' but it doesn't seem to have mad ea difference. They now suffer firing at long range as they should, but have such high accuracy they never miss anyway later in their profession. I may be way off base but that's my quick impression of pistoleer =)
