Hey,

Right now i'm still a lowly brawler (no laughing please), and am working to get teras kasi novice within a few days...I hope. Right now my current position is Expert Unarmed. So far I found the best way to gain some beginning XP is to kill everything that moves on rori, but XP is starting to decrease heavily, and it's taking a lot of enemies to kill before leveling up (about 100xp per shot, more or less).

Is there a good area to train at my current level of brawler? Maybe a good planet, or area (waypoint?) where I could gain some good XP without overextending my character too much? Hopefully there is a better spot than rori

dang :-/ after a few hours, no one has an idea of a good leveling up spot? that's kinda rough, considering there are master TKAs right now...and people really high ranking. Not looking for an exploit, but looking for a general, good spot, to level up.

Nyms on Lok are still the best, always have been the best. You'll need a friend, or some crazy high willpower and good stims

I am not master yet but let me tell you what i did and you can see if it helps you or not. I started out on Coriella in Kor Vella. Crazi durni missions are great and easy exp. Same thing with Tabagges. Here is the key though. I would get mission so you are getting money as well but the best exp comes from non mission lairs. So I would keep an eye out for good non mission lairs while running missions. For some reason more monsters spawn and are in the general area than a mission lair. I hit a tabagge lair and easy almost got 30000k. Kill the ones in the area. Ping the lair let them spawn again, rinse and repeat. you should know when you can destroy the lair just by lack of them respawning. And than here is the fun part. Instead of the normal 100-200 exp for the lair it can be over 1000+. This should help you grind out the exp to get to novice Tera Kasi. After that i moved to Talus and have been hunting toturs with friends. Talk about good exp. Now there might be better methods or places and better monsters to kill. But that is what i did and it got me to where i am at. I am currently working on the 2nd tier of Tera Kasi. I would be on the third but haven't been able to play much lately but that is a whole different story. Hope this helps you out.

the ragtag looks, kooks and lunatics on corellia aren't too bad if you really want to stick your nose to the grind stone. The good news is that if your thug faction is low enough, they'll come over and aggro you, so you don't have to do a whole lot of running.

I personally killed Maulers N of Theed.

you have to be sneaky about it though, at your LV Aprentances and Acolytes are probably the MOST you can take. More then likely, just appentinces

Keep in mind that knucklers are now a TKA certification.

Lots of current TKAs got there while they could hit for 300-400 a shot strait from the get-go as a barehanded novice. I wish I had started training barehanded earlier. I got to expert unarmed from using knucklers and hitting for 300+...makes quick work of durnis and vynoks. Now that the knucklers are a certification, and the dmg is "greatly reduced" till novice TKA is trained, it's alot more work getting through the brawling tree since you are only hitting for 60-80.

Just grind it out. Get an inexpensive mouse droid to group with you for the group exp-bonus. A faction pet like a stormtrooper commando works well too. Just have him stand there and you get all the exp + the group bonus. If you get in a jam have him attack to finish it off quicker.

Feral Banthas on Tatooine, hands down. You have to search the dunes for them, but it's well worth it.

When I started I tagged along with a friend while he showed me the ropes. I got my exp bonuses while on Talus, which you need to go to Corellia first to get there. It's quite a run out there but you can go lair to lair killing the Vynocks for 300-400 exp each. I was able to take those out one at a time before I even found out what VK's were so that shouldn't be a problem for you.

Another thing to try is the Narglatch Cave due directly East of Moenia on Naboo. You'll need a party to go hunt there as those things are vicious when you're first starting but the exp is up in the thousands.

There's also the Tusken Camp on Tattooine, at the bottom left of the planetary grid map. THere's usually quite a few advanced Creature Handlers out there with a few tanks so you can sneak in a few good hits in there to get good exp as well. Might be a good idea to bring a helmet with you, though, to protect the mind.

Kaduu's all over Naboo are also good exp if you can take them down. Take up some trapping skills, that would help with fighting against creatures.

That's all I can say for now until you're ready to take on Dathomir=P

Thanks again for all the good suggestions. Right now i'm on corellia fighting tabages. Unfortunately I can barely take them on my own...it's really sad :-/ I'm getting better at combos though, so i'm doing something on the lines of warcry, intimidate, blind, dizzy, then just fighting that way. It's rough because if I miss it, i'm almost certain to be incapicated. I havea friend who is going to go to lok with me to go after some nyms and stuff...maybe travel to another planet for better XP.

The nargalects on naboo are good for XP...too bad if I go face to face with one i'm screwed. Since I'm a wookie armor doesn't work for me, so unless I can call my pets (which since this is a new character, my pets are useless to me now), i will be dead quick. Hopefully I can get up there somewhat fast so I can be of more use...I simply can't fight worth anything at this point.

I'll try out some of the other places that you guys said as well. Hopefully something works well as something I can do but not die.

Feral Banthas as a brawler? Maybe a TKA novice. As a brawler I went to Mos Eisley on Tat, and by the Cantina by the Smuggler Trainer spawn MOBS (usually Cannibals or Spice Feinds) I camped there for a bit till i got Master unarmered. Then I went to a place by the Lucky Despot on Eisley or whatever that crashed ship is called and I killed the Jabba/Valarians there...and now I have a -5000 Valarian/Thug faction standing. Then when you get TKA novice head out into the middle of no where and find feral banthas and what not. When you have knockdown, go kill some greater desert womp rats, mountain worrts and some dewbacks. I am 0/1/0/0 and those three red cons are giving me 1.5-2k a kill. I hunt them east of Eisley. Hope this helps!

Thanks,

How long should I expect getting to novice teras kasi artist take? Considering playing about 12 hour days...could it be achieved in 1 day? I'm only about 10k XP going into expert ATM. I have a friend joining me, so it should come a bit handy since we are going to lok to try some bigger stuff..and hopefully not die
