Thread: To TKA or not TKA...
Okay I apologize for another "considering TKA" thread but I kind of need all your help and guidance here...
Originally I created a template (and I think its a nice and tight template btw) for the following:
Master Weaponsmith / Master TKA / Smuggler line for slicing and possibly dirty fighting.
But the more I see how the HAM usage on knockdowns are so incredibly high and how people are complaining that meditating is about as useful as taking a nap on a Tatoonie sand dune, I may switch my master TKA line to master Pistoleer. Even though a lot of peoplebecome that cookie cutter pistoleer, I for one do like the pistols as far as their versatility and ability to control (warning shot, anyone?)creatures.
Anyone up for a in-depth discussion between the two classes?

Take TK its more fun and can only get better!!!

Hee Hee Drakeal ... sorry I just didn't want to blatently steal your idea without giving credit.
- Since I do Martial Arts in RL when I think of TKA, I think that when they become a master that they will be very powerful and quick. Is this true? Can some masters state the damage they do (with VKs of course)?
- Also in PvP with the 75% damage reduction... are TKAs able to deal their worth of damage and perhaps do they have any advantages that maybe the other professions wouldn't have?
- And lastly, it concerns me that knockdown costs are high, it concerns me even more that the TKA knockdown costs are higher then the other professions. Is this really true?
Any help to these questions would seriously help me a lot!
abouta month ago i was doing the pistoleer route but at the tusken camp i saw a teras kasi artist dishing outmassive damage and knocking banthas down and i said to myself thats what i want to do. so i quit pistoleer and now im a teras kasi w/knockdown and power 1. getting nerfed sucked but i still like being a tka its way more fun than using my pistol and like my other tka friend here said "it can only get beter" which is very true. id say go for the tka. im going for master tka, medic, and ch. welcome into the tka brother hood bro!![]()
All I can say is that being a TKA is considerably more fun than the other combat classes IMHO, and I assume that knockdown is gonna be un-nerfed a bit.
I'd keep it...
