Not feeling down about innate armour, but looking at that pic I wonder what is going through SOE's mind putting General Cough Cough Dribbly in.



WHat's next I wonder, Jar Jar? Yoda? Why not put in Alderaan.... argh!!!! Bangs head.

Maybe if you are a Jedi... Anything TK can do with no armor, they can do better with it

TK with regular armor cant do anything the TK wouldnet be able to do with innate armor... in the long run the protection difference of an expensive as hell 7000 battle armor and IA 6000 amor amount to maby one more heal tops


by teh way the protection difference between a 6k and a 7k armor is 4%


6000 armor = 48% resist (free with TKM)

7000 armor = 52 resist (not free.. nuff said)

Any standard cheap armor (6k all stats) which is AB sliced is better then our innate. You can not really argue that point. I agree with you that innate is cheaper...but certainly not better..If you PVP..it makes a huge diff.

If you have the money you get get much nicer armor then 6k and ADK it (even if it is just the essential parts)... Large initial investement...then you dont have to worry about the wear. Again...it comes down to money.

yes most things in this game comes down to how much money you have..


i dont mass PvP alot so i cant say how much better it is in that situation, but i do alot of 1vs1 PvP and duels, andi personally have never felt that a guy with AB sliced armor has a much bigger advantage than me, but then again i dotn rely on AB to win or do damage with..


what you need to do is build you template to counter AB.. get some pike for intimidate and the AB bonus will be gone, throw in warcry and they dont hit as oftne as they normally would, and then you ogt the upper hand... or get CM and use your debuffs and DoTs to make your target heal instead of hit, therea rea many possiblities with many different combos.. you cant expect the same fighting style to be equaly usefull and powerfull in every situation..


imo using regular armor is a waste of money and BE clothing you could be wearing instead, but then again everyone to his own, not everyone has to fight with or without armor, when it all comes together its about personal preferance

AB (maybe excluding COB) is without a doubt the single best move that melee chars have. It is what keeps ranged classes from completely dominating the game. It is considerably more effective then stun and intimidate put together. When dueling almost EVERY melee opponent will try have the AB on you 90% of the time... I dueled with and without 75% AB resist armor many times...and it makes HUGE HUGE difference....

Having said that... I hate to wear armor, and wish they would give us some innate AB resists soon.
