Im TKM / MCM / novice pike.. iv been thinking about dropping novice pike for commando 4xxx.
the ups would be alot of extra melee and ranged defence / melee and ranged acc..
the down side would be that you miss out on a nice low SAC damage special Leghit
I really cant decide if the extra mods is worth the loss of a damage special, keep us postet, i for one would apreciate it

The melee defence is pretty cool i can tell you more about it when i try swords template whether its worth the sp.(See below) Also i hear u can get area kd nades
now that would be funny throwing one into a grp of jedi and seeing em fall on their asses
Well after alot of duels MCM / TKM is ok the 4000 commando was for the highest def possible with the least amount of sp spent i did ok however i believe that not getting MCM is the way to go.now ive been doing a bit more testing
and i tried 4004 cm / TKM 0040 pikeman 3000 commando 215 melee def and stackable slow down attacks + u can root/snare ranged I was thinking of getting a rez arm to make up for the non rezablity.The alternative to the stackable slowdown attacks is swords 0044 for dmg and armour reduction.Im going to do some extensive testing with the Defensive pikeman option 2nite and 2moz ill try the swords specials

It seems the swords specials are they way to go the adv armour break + critical hit does some real nice damage.Also the abilities from 0004 cm give me a better advantage than 0040 pikes as i can slow down people (ie ranged) stop people for a short amount of time to heal (paralyze) and slow down their attacks substationally (Thyroid rupture).Im going to take some time to learn how to really use this template as the damage / defence and abilities are really good.
So final template so far is
TKM Swords 0044 CM 4004 Medic 0410 Brawler 4440.
