I've got a set of fully sliced and ADK'ed Katarn Knuckles that I have been using for a while and am very happy with (in fact I am a Master Swordsman and TKM and use theminstead ofmy Power Hammer). Igota Necrosis Nightblade and need to figure out if I should use it or sell it on my loot vendor. I know both are great weapons, but has anyone used both and figured out if one is significantly better than the other?

I think the key element is if you're already maxxed (+25) on your ua speed and damage mods, as the nightblade has these built in. If you are, I'd use the katarn. If you don't have those mods, I'd use nightblade, as I'm not sure if katarn's elemental damage is fully functioning... also my katarn is unsliced but bio linked (yes I'm click happy), so I'll be using my sliced nightblade until further notice... however, if you had +25 +25 speed and damage and a sliced katarn, I would stick with that. Just my $.02

Knucklers of the Katarn is by far the best knuckler.. admit that the max damage is a tiny bit lower, but th elemental damage of a wooping 120 more than makes up for this, as the elemental damage is also something that many armors are more vunrable too doesnt make it worse..

Yes elemental damage works, turn on verbos chat and you will se how much of your damage is kenetic and how much is elemental + plus how much is absorbed and such [generally a great help in combat]

as for the mods only unarmed speed on the NIghtblade works while using the nightblade.. explenation; unarmed damage mods ONLY work when actaully unarmed ei. without knucklers.. unamred speed works both with and without knucklers

KotK even has higher DPS and better speed to boot (not positive about the speed, i am not ingame so check atm)

its to bad, the nightblade looks so much nicer. katarn nuk make me look like i have a mangled hand ;/

why in the world does the nighblade mod not work? unarmed damage on nightblade is just stupid.. I wish that stuff worked correctly.
