Thread: trandoshan that needs advice

so since a trandoshan can't wear boots or gloves since i've never had a full set of armor how much in damage can that affect me
i know everyone hates to see a tka in armor but it if for xp and money uses.
plz help me out

Your Boots and Gloves add no damage but they do add defense. A TKA in armor is quite powerful, compared to one who isn't in armor and can get dropped by a master rifleman very quickly. The only things that will add to your damage are +unarmed damage SEAs and Vibro knucklers.

Occasionally an attack will hit you as if you had no armor on at all (that's what they call "armor holes").

well I duel with only a helmet and chest plate because thats the only armor needed while dueling
so why waste your stats on useless armor and i never get hit as if iam didnt have any armor on this is jst some
newb thought lol

Unarmed SEAs do not work, they are broken.
VK boost damage at the expense of HAM costs of special attacks.
I have been playing a Trandoshan TKM for about5 months...no problems. Just equip everything else, you'll have no "issues".
I wore Comp helm, legs and chest, and ubese bracers for quite some time. I am now in full comp (- gloves and boots) and I am doing just fine 
Get some HAM sliced Comp as soon as possible (especially the helm).My total HAM cost of my full suit is less than 300 all around (around 280s and like 240 for mind).
And I have yet to see an armor hole...but waiting for something to kill me with it sooner or later.

If u pick up some fencer skill in melee and ranged defense you can fight in 75% ubese armor with no problem (once max 125 def. in both). that way you have regen on stats. works for me.
