Hmm it's a shame it can be solo'd really...

A couple of weeks back we had a Gorax hunt and killed 7 of them in total... we assembled a group which at various times had between 8-14 people in it. Nobody was allowed to have buffs and armour - you could choose to have either one or the other. We had a great time, was a really fantastic hunt and everyone in the group had a great laugh... for me this is how the game ismeant to be played, and hopefully this will be the norm after the CU. TKM is a totally awesome profession, and it's will always be my favourite for combat - but I hope that we do get the rebalance that the profession warrants, it has to be the way forward for the game.

But I have to say personly I think it's awful that a TK can solo a Gorax, well I actuly hate the fact anyone can solo it & can't wait for the CU to change these things.

I was disapointed in the fact that on the hunt Rockstar mentioned above I was able to tank a Gorax unbuffed with just my light Kinetic armour on, though at the time there were a few others taking agro now & then but it was on me for much of the fights. I think the only time I incaped was when we had two on us at once & we all died.

PersonlyI wish wearing armour would cancle out toughness, that would make things much more intresting.

Solo it as TKM ? How long did it take how many times did he KD you ? I don't know if people feel the same way, but its really dumb (at least for me) to see TK all over the place spamming /uh3. No fun at all, people just use this dumb attack jump/spin and tank everything. In pvp all u use is /unarmedheadhit1. 2 out of 4 of my toons were TKMs, right now I am TKM but people out there abuse the proffession and eventually it will get nerfed. I would suggest that TK should not be allowed to wear armor, since we already are the fastest/most consistent damage proffession out there, and we can hit all pools. I was MS and I killed everything you could name solo. Did I enjoy it ? No, because it is really sad when dude with hammer can kill huge Dragon in 15-30 minutes. Thats why I dropped swords and Mbrawler to go TKM/pistoleer/smuggler. I hope that CR will bring changes and will eliminate the TK soloing the Gorax or any other top end creature/npc.
