Hit TKA Master a week ago

Since then I have been hunting with my guild and other random people on Dath and I noticed some odd things...

* Please note we hunted nothing but Rancor Missions(normal, Bull, and Enraged).

* Also I am a TKA Master with commando (flame4) - only used the flame thower once when trying to save the Master Pistoleer.

seems most perfessions on Dath hunt with a full suit composit armor and full doctor buffs.

I just used power boost with my normal stats -

Some notes on how the other professions did....

Master Pistoleer - rancors used him as a chew toy, he left the group after one mission.

Creature handler - not bad as long as his pet took all the damage, left the group when his pet got diseased.

Bounty Hunter - not bad, took a lot of damage and delt a lot of damage, got incapped 3 times and left the group.

Master Carbineer - OMG it was funny watching him run and scream for help after talking smak.

Master Commando - not bad damage - but got killed and left the group on mission 2.

* I never even got incapped

After a few missions, everyone left except myself and a master rifleman. We went back to the outpost, I found a doc, and got buffed, and then paid the dancers to buff me. Then used Power Bost (wow 3400 HAM)

Master Rifleman - not bad as long as the rancors stayed 64m away - he got incapped once, and had to leave on the last mission as a Bull rancors diseased his mind pool.

I soloed the last 1/2 of the mission - the only time I ever saw my ham go down was when I got diseased

/sit - /meditate = all better, time to finish the lair

Maybe you are just a better player than they are? I only have 0040 pistoleer and I can solo any rancor i've ever come across with just my pistol skills and ubese. No buffs required. I think you may have been grouped with some jokers.

Try soloing a nightsister elder, man....bad....Rancors are childs play for nearly any elite buffed guy.

by the way, my firend Chiaco took down one, and he's a master rifleman, in my opinion they are the best ranged profession out there. (he only ate ryscate)

The reason they were all running around like little girls is because they had no toughness mods.

It makes a difference. . . even the pikeman's low mod.

you think 3400 ham is high??

I've gotten some sweet doc buffs in the 2k range, and with pb...(i have a max 1300 mind..) i've been well over 4 k in both health and action... with a 1900 mind...(if i wanted mind buffs... could have been close to 3k there too... but pb messes with my mind buffs.... hope they fix that soon...)

I got a fish guy, with ALL my secondaries max, maxed mind, and very very low health and action... like 375...

BUT if i PB (i get 650) i'm over 1k in each, almost 2 k mind, and maxed secondaris mean, with just a PB i'm pretty much good to go... add in doc buffs, and i'm truly sitting pretty... I've never used drugs OR food...

LoL. I love buffs... Even in my weak Fencer state (holo grinding) as in, training 1 handed 1 in brawler... with that setup i was fighting on Darmoth, without much worries... (could barely kill stuff.... but that's besides the point... lol)

BUFFS ROCK...

and rancors are the suck... you need to be soloing nightsisters and such before i'd be somewhat impressed, esspecially with there new force powers.

looking at my math is off... doc buffs had to have been much closer to 3k, but i do remember having 4k hams more than once... coures, 3k buffs are very rare... besides... I rearly need more than 2 k in any pool so long as my secondaries are maxed...

secondaries are were it's at my friends... lol I almost don't care about the health or action buffs anymore... so long as my seondaires are sky high.
