Im a twilek tka.. im wondering if i should use armor or not for tka... I just got a new suit of Composit armor and find i cant wear it all, i can get on everything but the arms and hands... even with full secondaries... So im not sure if its worth it.. or if i should try and find lower encumb armor..

I'm twi'lek and use encumbrance sliced adv ubese. I just wear the jacket, pants, boots, and gloves. I get less kinetic resist than composite, but I feel adequately protected. The jacket wears out quickly, though, so buy two.

90%of the timeI use no armor at all. But, about 10% I take some muon and use a sweet 80% kinetic chest plate and pants. I think each has a mind encumb. of about 80, so the substats go to 840 each which is still pretty nice for that 10min up.

Also, some enhanced ultra low encum mabari can have extremely slow mind encumb. but still give you that 50% damage decrease.

Are you talking PvP or PvE?

I'm a PvETwi'lek Master TKA. If I'm buffed I don't use armor. If I'm not buffed I still don't use it but I stay away from the death planets also (No sense taking on a rancor with only 1K HAM)

With toughness mods and doc buffs armor isn't needed UNLESS you are fighting ranged opponents. ANY ranged attack ignores your toughness (even spitting attacks from creature mobs). If you are going to do a bunch of fighting against ranged mobs or PvP then use the armor. Of course if you are using the armor then you need to buff secondaries since doing a special with VK's AND armor on will incap you in no time flat.

On another note I've never had a problem with composite armor (I have to use stat migration like crazy though). If you still can't put it on even after stat migration then theencumberance on the armor is just too high IMO.
