I'm wondering what the 1 second minimum attack speed cap applies to. Is it the total modified attack speed including the speed modifier for a special attack or just the actual weapon speed before modifiers?

I'm asking this question since, by the calculations listed in the FAQ, my attack speed using UAH2 with 1.5 sec VK's and a +55 unarmed attack speed (intermediate power techniques plus trandoshan speed bonus) yields an attack speed of 1.7 secs, and using UAH1 I get a 1 sec attack speed. Would using UAH2 be the only time I'd see an attack speed improvement if I were to use a speed powerup since my UAH1 speed is already at the 1 sec cap?

Also, the FAQ (very well written I might add) doesn't say what the unarmed weapon speed is without VK's, anybody know what that is?

It's the absolute speed with all modifiers applied. I.e., with +100 you will attack once per second with any weapon and any special no matter what.

Fists are 3.5spd if I recall correctly.
