I either recommend going BH3000 and TKM or MBH + other ranged skills. TKA is best for PvP when you master it, IMO. And if you're going MBH you should add to it with other ranged professions, since you already have so much invested in ranged weapons already. Sure the current fad is to go melee against Jedi but remember a few things: while Jedi may be vulnerable to melee attacks they have toughness mods to decrease melee damage and if a meleer is able to hit a Jedi, the Jedi is able to hit the meleer. Jedi can also kite meleers with saber throw and force run. Even though 60-80% of a ranged attackers shots are blocked by a Jedi when they do hit they hit for full damage, plus a Jedi can be kited by that ranged attacker.
A ranged attacker can beat a Jedi. Just takes some practice and creativity. I don't recommend trying to mix the two templates of ranged and melee because you'd be spreading yourself too thin.
