Thread: Buffs are removing strategy from TKA.

We have an epidemic. It is the dependency for people playing TKA on buffs, and 80/80/73 composite armor. A note about me; I am a TKM, Master Ranger on Corbantis, and 2-1-2-1 TKA, and 0-1-0-0 Doc on Eclipse.
It Is completely removing any kind of strategy for most people that play TKA. All I see people do is this. 1. Get doc buffed. 2. Get dancer & musician buffed. 3. Put on their 80/80/73 armor. 4. Get solo-group. (
lol.Oxymoron) 5. Go out and solo group based missions by just standing in the middle of the the whole spawn, and spin attacking, or the good 'ol dizzy KD combo. No intimidate. No warcry. No thought into whats going on.

No thought into whats going on. I sit in the Dantooine Mining Outpost grinding out doc med xp, and crafting xp. I had the unfortunate experience to be there when there were no buffing Docs there. I literally got HUNDREDS of tells asking me if I could buff. In fact I got SO many that I removed my tag, and set myself as afk tag. People lost their frigging MINDS. "OMG I cant get a buff, what am I going to do?" I suggested that they group like normal and still go out and do missions, they looked at me like I shot thier dog, lol.
People simply do NOT know how to function as a group anymore.

Maybe not on dantooine the grinding outpost of the game. but take a trip to dath and there are still hunting groups forming, and I dare you to find someone soloing the DWB. Yes buffs/ham/armor need adjusting, but for now people need to earn credits and one of the best ways is a solo group on dantooine.

Would you want people in your group for DWB that havent even learned how to play their character in a group? I know I wouldnt. I know about PAs and guilds, I know, I know. Sometimes, people in your guild arent availiable or are doing other things. I can see the value of the Dant mining post as a holo grind before publish 10, but people need some regular grouping experience before they move on to other things...
