Thread: New TKM Damage Idea

OK, this is just an idea, so don't kill me for it, but here goes:

To get a new type of damage, TKM's would have to equip a "Damage Suit" or something to that effect. It would be some kind of clothing type item with metal gloves/boots for hands and feet. It could do blast, electric, or stun damage (or something else). The premise is that the gloves and boots have some thing in them that makes them do the damage. To keep this balanced there could be restrictions: Can't wear it with armor and/or can't use a VK

Anyways, flame it or like i, but input or ideas on how to make it better would be nice.

Nah, the devs need to really change the dmg system instead of giving us new weapons

They need to add Bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage, like in the SW d20 RPG. Fists should do Bludgeoning, as should most other blunt objects, and VKs should do slashing. Fencer should specialize in piercing, and Heavy Swordsman & Pikeman should also have some bludgeoning/slashing. Personally, I HATE the ghetto way they do dmg types.

They should add Sonic, and make Geo pistols and Sg-82s do Sonic damage. Jawa Ion rifles should do electricity, and FWG-5 should do slashing (it is a flechette pistol, which is basically a fragmentation weapon). Tusken rifles should do piercing, and they should do a pass on damage types to fix the ones I missed.

I savvy, but I must say it was cool on paper. Thank you for explaining without the usual "You bleeping n00b".

Your idea would be a cool "quick-fix" except i dont like having a whole suit for dmg, thats kinda excessive.

The devs are reintroducing razor knucklers... eventually... and they do heat damage, so that's pretty cool. Still, I'd rather have them use my idea, cuz its logical.
