Hello all,

Like every other tk out there i have had considerable trouble when dealing with those pesky ranged proffessions. I would much rather fight a stacker any ole day of the week...but thats just me.

I have tried lots of tactics but they always eem to get me if i cant get a lunge in. This is hard to do withy moderate system configs so I experiance lag if the venue is busy and crowded. Most of the time I would use my terrain like many people have suggested. Wait around a corner and when the rifelman comes after u try and hit a lunge.

Well, I was sick of doing this so I experimented a little with combat medic. Wow, has this helped me a lot. i have 4,0,0,4 in cm and it helps immensely. Basically your tactics are the same...get out of his line of fire and make him come to you trying really hard not to be tempted into getting kited. When the fight starts a throw a couple states if I can (he then proceeds to run to kite me) and then throw a powerful mind poison. I run around the corner, as usual, waiting for him to come to me. Sometimes if the rifleman/pistoleer/carbineer is any good he will wait me out and stay at a distance trying to bide his time as well and wait for me to make a mistake so he can open up. the beauty part here is that his mind is coming down with each tick of the poison....he has to come and get you. He also cant spam mind shot3 because his mind is gone. now you have the freedom of running out to land that unarmed combo 1 or your unarmead head hit to put him down for good. It usually only takes one hit as his mind is all the way down to zero.

Whew, well that was a mouth full but it has solved my rifleman problem. I hope this helps somone!
