For a while i had been debating whether or not the character i roleplay, a Mandalorian soldier, would indulge in Teras Kasi. I thought about it for a long time, over the 2 month period i had been absent from SWG gameplay, and i read up on Bushido, Karate, and the Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi, and while i wanted my character Gaidden Leveth to resemble the ideal Mandalorian warrior, I found that if i wanted to capture the essence of the Mandalore,I would haveto seperate myself from my own logic and think using the logic of Gaidden Leveth. Gaidden would have definitly gone Teras Kasi had he been aware of the ancient art, which he was introduced to it through Arden Lyn, so I thought the idea would be great. The power that comes with it was something any Mandalorian couldnt resist. Not only the power but the discipline, the honing of the mind, this is the true weapon of any sentient being, and one who follows the code of the Mandalore would respect that should it ever cross their path, they'd learn it.
My template is Commando/TK. I felt i MUST keep Commando if i ever wanted to even think about dubbing my character a Mandalorian, so i went with that.
I just wanted to give an explanation for my signature, this is the point for this thread.
But please, tell me how you feel about this, please be mature.

Well, It seems the power would draw the Mando's Attention, then, according to Star Wars Lore, the time and effort it takes toreach alevel wherethey would beeffective in combat, i'd say thatthey (Common MandalorianSoldier) would look over when offered aFlame Thrower or Blaster Rife.
FYI,I replyed to theDarth Maul TKM thing again.

I suggest getting the comic book Jango Fett
pean Seasons, from Darkhorse comics.
In it, it talks about Jangos life, and how he Dooku recruited him for the clone template.
Dooku, when he had been on the council, raided the Mandalorian's basecamp on Galidraan with other Jedi, because supposedly they had been slaughtering women and children, however they were framed. Jango and a few Jedi were the sole survivors of the attacks, no Mandalorians survived.
Anyways, Palpatine asked Dooku how one man killed so many Jedi on Galidraan.
"With his bare hands"
The Jedi attacked the camp, and the Mandalorians opened fire. Blaster weapons didnt work, so they switched to projectiles (Rocket Launchers, etc.) It worked, but not as well. In the end, Jango got up close and hand to hand with a Jedi or 2. He disarmed them of their lightsaber, VERY carefully, and eventually won the fight.
We also see a character named Myles get sliced in 2 at the torso by a lightsaber, disproving the 'Mandalorian armo is anti-lightsaber' myth.
So, yeah. A TKA Mandalorian wouldnt be a bad idea

Yep, i've got almost all Mandalorian Canon information. I've got the comic bro
In graphic novel form and i have to first two issues.
The thing about that is througout the comic, you dont see any Jedi actually slice through the padding of the armor or the helmet. When the Jedi slices Myles in half, its just between that wedge on his belly between the stomach plate and the utility belt, so the verdict is still out on that one.
