Well, the ones that the Corrs chose (the 5 picks) were done some time ago (I asked for applicatins at the time). The ones after those, though, will be selected by SOE just like any other BETA process.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! I just read through the thread TH started and all I can say is OMG!!!!!!

This is gonna be great! Again, I am so happy I choose this as the only MMO I'll play! Here SWG goes again with another huge project no one has tried before. Tying a ground based MMO to a space based online flight sim was an inspired decision. Now we're going to completely change almost every aspect of the way combat and classes interact a year after the game launched. Community suggestions and idea's are being introduced, armour, buffs, skills, everything is going to change. I can't begin to express how exciting this is going to be.

I can't wait to start getting into the sandbox! Ryutek, I must say you're the best Corr this prof ever had and I appreciate the way you keep us informed, TH you rock man, way to keep the info comin, and to the rest of the Dev's thanks for again trying to be imaginative and making this game try to reach our expectations!

Hehehe.. (this is also very good news for me personally as it means my best friend will read this, put down his GTASA, and get back on SWG!!! LOL!)

After the Alpha stage (The Corrs, Former Corrs, and the 5 from each profession) there will be a closed BETA in which many more will be invited, and then an Open BETA. The expected timeframe is fairly drawn out however, so as we get information on each stage ctarting I'll add it here as well.

I dont know if this has already be asked in other Threads, Im sure it has... but here it comes again anyhow. Is there any Idea, Even just a crazy wild guess, as to when the combat revamp is gonna happen?

Just some advice...

Those of us testing the upgrade are under an NDA, so don't expect any information about the combat upgrade unless a developer decides to make an announcement.
