Yes and what if you are not interested in taking all those other professions/skills in addition to TKA? If your class role is a tank, you should be able to do that with your class... not have to suck in skills from 5 other unrelated NON-TANKING professions to be able to tank.

That's a little like a Fighter in DnD not being able to tank unless he takes 2 levels of wizard and 3 of rogue.

i was a firm believer in taunt pre-cu, but now it doesn't seem all that effective. i taunt and, when it sticks, sure, they come running over to me....of course, i have to be within a certain distance of them for it to work and while i'm waiting for my timers to go back up so i can try and put a state on it, my ranged friends are hitting it and, eventually, it goes and runs after them. so then the whole, useless process starts over again and basically you have me just standing there taunting my brains out while my timer does it's job.

perhaps if there was no timer on taunt, it would work better, but as it stands right now, it's not very effective.
