Thread: Are Tanks Needed?

Many of my friends gave up TKA in favor of a ranged profession of one kind or another. All of them are telling me they don't need a tank because they have specials that can root an opponent. What use is TKA now? Especially when we don't have anything that will keep an opponent in place, and knockdown recovery is so fast.

It seems you can't tank if you can't deal the most damage ... in which case you're not tanking anyway.
