I played on my character last night. I like the combat upgrade very much. I enjoy TK more then before but I can see how some suggestions would fit quite well. The whole idea, that I don't need physical armor is good, I hated buying expensive armor. I propse these changes as suggestions as a result of the Combat Upgrade
Suggestion 1: For armor break (sweet attack btw) create a soundbyte that is loud and you can hear over the music. I sugggest a soundbyte of like something breaking a brick wall. I couldn't hear the armor break hitting and had to rely on text.
Suggestion 2: When an attack is missed, a swoosh sound might sound appropriate. This swoosh sound could be the equal of attacking someone or something and having the attack miss and only the air flow of the attack can be heard.
Suggestion 3: Last night, I had trouble determining whether I was attacking or not. We were hunting level 81 bols on dantooine and if you know them, you know they are big. Anyways The bol was large enough that I couldn't see my character and whether or not he was attacking. Since the combat que is gone, I can't tell if I am attacking or not. So I just keep left clicking the bol and give myself rheumatoid arthritis in that finger. I propose a suggestion that the something appear under the targets name that signifies I am attacking it. Like "Assaulting Target" would be permissable.
Suggestion 4: The frequency in which you do regular attacks (not specials) would be good. I realize that the speed of the weapon and skills you possess make up some of the speed and dps. However, if TK regular attacks were upgraded a bit, I would alot happier and well suited.
Suggestion 5: The TK innate armor is nice, but could be improved. I think it might be great to show everyone that I am a TK without having to have the title around my name. I am an architect so I need the architect title to be searchable and people can order equipment from me. So I propose that an armorsmith or tailor be allowed to make a custom suit that only a TK can wear. I hate running around naked. This suit doesn't serve as armor and thus has no sockets or effects. It has the requirement that the user be TK. Anyhow, this suit would signify that the user is an elite combatant for the TK order. Furthermore, I would like to see a different custom suit for races that can't wear standard suits. For example, I am Ithorian and I would like a special TK suit useable only by Ithorians. I am sure the Wookiee TK's would like this idea as well.
At the moment, this is all I can think of. I encourage other TK's to post in this thread about suggestions they would like to see.
