Thread: The end of TKMs..
i want an explanation of why our old good animations were taken, werent TKMs very good martial artist an was very flexible?

I am all for the CU, SWG needed a new system...but giving TKMs the shaft is not a good move.

/agree ... i hope its because everything is so new to me that i'm frustrated with this...

I have been dueling my guild mates....we are metro so we have plenty of players to duel.
and the simple fact remainds.. TKM do not hit hard enough to incap players...they regenrate faster then we damage.
Pikeman will be the Melee profession of choice.
Again like i said I will never drop TKM...but I am extremely disappointed in our Combat Upgrade.
TKM's are not going to be a damage dealing profession post cu.
We are tanks now and I think we do a great job at it.

I am master TKM/Master Rifle (after last respec) and it is awesome.
Are TK what they used to be? Not at all. They have a role now. If you want to do damage and be the best tank, pick up a second proff that does damage.
I don't think it's the end of TKMs any more than the last two years has been the end of Smugglers.
I think I'd be perfectly happy if my Master Dancer/TKM AT LEAST had the same health as a double combat template. Why should Dancers have less health? Dancers are pretty damn healthy. 2k health is kind of hard to deal with if you actually WANT to get involved in the GCW and PvP...especially as a tank class.
The other thing that kind of irks me is the lack of interesting specials compared with other combat professions.
Oh and the 3rd thing; why oh WHY did SOE feel the need to nerf the animations? All that does is make the game less visually appealing...not something I think you'd do if you want to compete with some of the new games out there. Visuals are what help hook players initially IMO.
