Well recently I started another profession "marksman" just to check out how they play compared to TKA. It was fun, classes seemed very similar in play except as ranged I never actually had to fight in close combat and killed most things from range if positioned properly without them getting to me, but I never fought past white con. It was fun to take abreak from regular punching bag profession and fire a gun for a while. But couple issues I noticed.

TKA needs HAM costs and failure rates on special moves fixed. Itis killing us. Ranged don't have that issue, they seem to be balanced. However we need our costs lowered. Increasing costs for ranged is not a solution, it's simply creating another problem.

Our melee defense need to be increased, it seems to just lack. We can take more face to face combat compared to other classes, but it is not significantly higher to compensate for the risk and the beating we get.

Another thing is a meditate tree. It does absolutely nothing just improves meditate which is pretty useless, I see no point to gain 1million exp to get that. I thought that tree shouldALSO increase our meleedefense as well which is lacking currently. This could balance things out. There would be a reason to raise that tree and it would increase our weak defense.

And just one more thing I recently noticed... master smuggler gets absolutely nothing for becoming a master besides a title. Why?

Most of these have already been addressed with the Devs. Still waiting on a reply.

As for the smuggler issue, that I can't help you with.

As far as I know Master Smuggler grants you improved slicing rates, as well as a 25% percent discount on faction perks. Its just not listed in the skill tree.

Uhh, Master Meditation heals your wounds and you regen your HAM faster. TKA Master heals wounds in high chunks. So what game are you playing in which Meditation is useless?
