Take off your knuckles.

This should be FAQed or something.

Dude, that was my next question I was gonna hunt for on the boards.

I am indeed still using Vibroknuckles cuz I was gettin pwned as a brawler without them.

So ditch the knuckles...will my damage then suck, or does TK get a bit of a bonus?

Well if your using lots of special moves you have to take the vks off. You can put them in your hotbar to quickly unarm, use special attack, then rearm. There is word that weapon smiths will be able to experiment with ham costs sometime in the future, so there is hope for low ham vks. As far a beserk, its getting a huge nerf and thats a shame.

I like to start off my battles with intimidate, then blind1, then stun1....then I toss in some unarmedhit2's assuming my debuff's worked the first time. I generally don't berserk1 cuz of the HAM hit...and numerous people said it's not worth it unless you need to do a lot of damage in short time span.

Maybe I'll make a macro that does all that (with correct pauses) and then equips my knuckles for the remainder of the battle.

Plus I can toss in my pet's attack command....interesting.

Thanks for all the tips guys!

Until the next patch, you can use the following attack order to solo most anything (besides DJMasters, Kryats, etc)

Unequip VKs
KD1 (Knockdown) X10 (spam knockdown 10 times)
Berserk1
Equip VKs
regular attacks until berserk wears off
Unequip VKs
Berserk1
Equip VKs
Regular attacks until berserk wears off
Repeat as needed.

Cool...but I'm a long ways from Knockdown (I think I have 50% of the exp needed for a first tier skill).

I don't understand, even with power gaming, how anyone could already be a TK master. I try to get in 30+ hours a week, and only taking breaks in the cantina when I'm AFK for a bit.

is there a trick? should I be grouping? and what happened to all of the hunting parties? in July, people were always shouting about a hunting party forming...but now it's rather quiet.

Is everyone on Lok, Dantooine or Dathomir??

{sorry to adjust the format of the quote..i wanted to emphasize the last sentence...}

that's the ticket. i have no patience for killing measley white mobs that drop 100xp or less per kill (worthless). i need zerk for solo'ing weaker red cons that drop 1500+ xp. with zerk alone i can solo greater womps and palumpasets...both red cons to me but not high level creatures. that and using stims. if they nerf zerk....i don't know how i will ever get the millions and millions (did i say millions? yeah..millions...with an M) of experience points needed to get tomaster going100xp at a time. i love TKA's but sony sure is making it very VERY difficult to maintain patience with their nerf sledgehammer tactics. btw, i don't have kd1 yet.

ugh...

Ok, I'm ONLY a novice TK Wookie (on Radiant).

Is it just me, or do you find that you can only hit a few special attacks during combat before your HAM's get too low for comfort?

I'm a CH also, almost have 2 first tier skills, and can only call 1 pet at a time.
They say CH is too powerful...so explain why I get incap'd or die a WHOLE lot when I take on white mobs?
I'm pretty much stuck with fighting the few white's that do not gang up. If they do group...I'm hosed.
Sometimes I'm lucky and they take out my pet...but inevitably I go down at some point...usually due to my mind pool, but almost as often its my health bar taht's drained, and my action isn't far behind.

Now I read that Knockdown takes 400+ HAM?? I can't afford that! I guess I'll play my other guy and deal with crappy Novice Chef xp, and all the Droid engineer bugs/complaints/etc...

/sigh
