This is all probably wasted breath but ask your fellow pistoleers and BH's if they'd be willing to switch to a CDEF gun to do there KD, followed by a quick re-equip to do some none KD dmg. You'd have a riot on your hands with lots of "this is the end", "sony suck s", etc. Name another class that has to unequip their cert'd weapon to do a move?

The unequip necessity was one thing when VK's were cert'd for everyone and novice brawlers were running around with uber VK'sbut that's not the case now. I can even see the need for increased HAM with a non-cert'd VK, but that was then, and this is now. VK's are only used by TK's now. This is our only weapon. We should be able to style with it with less risk of personal injury.

Really our complaints about defense and increased toughness is a distant second in importance. Who here wouldn't trade status quo toughness to a drop in VK HAM costs? We wouldn't need to be as tough if we weren't killing ourselves.

I'd list our next problems to devs like this

1) VK HAM costs are excessive

2) VK HAM costs are excessive

3) VK HAM costs are excessive

4) see 1-3

5) see 1-4.

I'd give them concrete numbers from the testing done on this board so they can see and I'd compare/contrast it to the HAM costs of pistolwhip and underhand. Provide them with hard data supporting this issue. Tell then why we feel unequipping is the equivalent of using a CDEF to KD. If/when that gets fixed we can talk about /stick and kiting and whatnot, but right now the Kimogilasized problem with TKAis VK HAM costs.

weaponsmithes can now experiment on reducin' HAM costs on weapons. best I've seen so far lowerd all stats by 10 points at best. that's like down from 52/48/36 to 43/38/27 for VK which is still too high and not really worth it.

btw, the side effect of the HAM *improvemnt* is the crappy damage/speed. so there. really not much they can do for now.
