For all us TKAs with no boxes yet, would it now be better to go with the power boxes first? Is knockdown any good at all now?

I would say still get KD first, then power. KD the way it is now is still better then no KD at all, unless you wanna go the dizy/lunge1 route, and if thats the case I'd suggest going fencer instead.

lunge/dizzy works on humanoid NPCs ya still need KD to fight creatures with 2k + HAM.

You dont want to be a TKA right now. It's a sad time for all TKAs out there.

I was lunge/dizzying 10k HAM nyms last night, so you're kinda off base on that statement.

I don't suggest going TKA at all. I'm 90k combat away from master and it sucks. I have to look for single white cons that I can hopefully kill or maybe get my ass kicked for 100 combat XP. Or maybe I'll be real lucky and find out I only get 1 combat XP from it. And I sure as hell didn't work my ass off for KD2 to go back and use the first brawler /unarmedlunge1 skill.

Theres no reward for being TKA anymore. I assure you it is no more fun getting closer to TK master so I'd invest the time elsewhere but don't surrender the skills yet in case they fix the **edit**. I, myself, am giving it a week and then I'm either switching professions or canceling my account. Probably canceling cause nothing else interests me.

Sorry to be a discouragement but there really isn't much of a fun point anymore.

no I am not. are ya sayin' lunge isas affective on creatures as it is on humanoids? most animals imune to lunge attacks all me sayin'...

Well, lets put it this way, I only need 4 more boxes to get TK master, on tues night I was hapilly fighting stuff that conned white and sometimes yellow to me for a decent exp rate. Last night I logged in and get killed 16 times in 20 minutes fighting exactly the same things. One critter killed me 5 times before I could finish it off. I have dropped my "Teras Kasi Expert" title to "Novice Brawler" since thats what I am now. The only thing I have found that I can kill now are Paralopes and small bunny rabbits (Durni's). They con light blue, I get 1 point of unarmed and 1 point of combat exp for killing them, Seeing as I have 4 more blocks to fill at 450k exp each, I estimate it will take me 3 years, and over 2 million paralopes or bunnies to make master TK right now. I never did PvP because any novice marksman with a scout blaster could headshot me and incap me in one shot, now I kill myself with knockdown, lovely.

I got killed by the first thing that agro'd on me last night. An even con Alkhara Bandit. That has nothing to do with KD. I could fight them AFK pre-patch. There's clearly been some kind of change to our defense or something...

I too will be cancelling my account if TKA is not changed to a more usable state.

It's not a threat to SOE, or some other childish thing, I could care less, it's just not something I choose to pay for and not have fun....and withprobably over 100 hours played on my character, and being 5 boxes from TKM (balance 4, meditate 2, 3, and 4 and Master Precision Striking), re-rolling or surrendering skills, just won't cut it.

Or maybe I'll just play a Bounty Hunter like everyone else on the server, and help ruin everyone else's delivery missions.
