Your subscription has been canceled. To reactivate this account at a later date, simply return to the Subscription Detail page and resubscribe. Thanks for playing, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us!

Canceling your account does NOT affect your characters, only your billing information. If you cancel your subscription and then re-subscribe to Star Wars Galaxies within 3 months, we guarantee that you will still have access to your game characters. Unfortunately, after that period we can no longer guarantee the validity of the characters. As we do not actively purge accounts, most characters will remain available. If you wish to reactivate your account in the future, you will need to use the same Station Name and Password that was used before canceling your Star Wars Galaxies subscription.

this is a duplicate thread. I already have a petition going with like 84 signatures already. Please post there so that we can keep all of the anger consolodated. Looks better when we have one with 1000 sigs, then a few with lower numbers.

NM didn't know it was a sticky on top of the forum page.

Not a sticky, just staying at the top (Without a single bump!)... shows you how happy people are... especially now that low level creature difficulty has been increased... I love this its great!

I canceled.

I didn't cancel because of thenerf, though it was "the straw that broke the camel's back." I canceled because the customer relations practiced by SOE are horrendous. As a customer I have been provided bare minimum information in regards to these patches. It is funny how only the fixes are addressed in the patch release notes, and never the "nerfs."

Also I have been paying for a faulty product. Are you expected to pay rent on a house that's half built? Do you typically lease automobiles that still have some "bugs?" SOE had sure better be glad they have that forced agreement statement at the login screen that consists of 500+ words summing up the single phrase:

"Even though you pay us the highest cost of any MMOG ever, we are obligated to provide you absolutely nothing in return."

... and they havent.

There is a five page thread about this already. I think it looks more impressive to have one thread with 8 pages of people signing on to this idea than multiple different threads.

The petition thread is the "waa I'm cancelling my account thread." I think everyone should let these threads drop and post their aggrement in that official thread.

Not that I can, becuase I won't be cancelling, but I respect the feelings of others so I encourage you to make an impressivly long thread that might -- maybe -- get the attention of someone.
