Take missions close to town and run them as fast as you can. This is how I did it solo. It is a long hard road since your damage doesn't go up much until you hit TKN. Be sure to use blind and stun, they helped me.

it has been my experance so far that, from unarmed1-TKN your damage/speed just SUCK! I am 55k away from TKN right now and am trying to grind it every night... I use VK's to get a speed boost and always berzerk. I also found that if you have a pet, have it group with you and stay like 30M+ away, that will give you a group bonus, sometimes its small, but every little bit counts.

I look at another character I have who is 0/0/3/0 brawler (heavy swords) and he consistantly will do 1100+ damage a hit at 2.2 speed... then over on my 4/0/0/0 brawler (tks with 70k twords tkn) i do 220-250 BERZERKED! without being Zerked I do 1/2 of that...

All I can tell you is to grind away, kill kill kill... If you know a master Doc and cna afford it, get a action/health buff so you can go lots longer without having to rest... I personally cannot wait until TKN, it will be a MUCH deserved damage boost! I cant stand doing only 250max right now...

My recomendation.. go to the cantina and find a novice doc. He needs mad XP so you can hire him to come with you.

Then go kill lots of boars and lots of cupa's. With boar's and the mid-level womp rats you can level up fast. With someone healing you ya just have to watch mind. This is on tatooine mind you I don't know the aniamls on other servers.

I could kill the boars by myself it's how I totally got unarmed 4. Cause lke 4 agro you at once and they are not to hard. I like when they all aggro. You kill 4 in a row BAM BAM you got like 2k-3k xp in like 2 minutes.

Get Pistols 4, use a healthshot on the creature, run away and wait for the healthshot to kick in, the creature will come running, but now its got some damage on it.

Now melee.

Even better if you can get a doc to follow you around, that way you can solo humabas (which should be red)

that's how i did it, minus the doctor.

And when using the health shot, keep shooting until you see a high damage hit.

I.E. if you first shot hits for 149, shoot until the healthsot is 289 or 300+ that way the creature will lose

289 or 300+ respectivly

Also, kill crazed Durni's!!

Take an explorer mission (where you have to kill 45 of them, (hey might as well make some money too))

Then take a destroy mission to destroy a crazed durni lair.

You can get around 300+ xp for each, they're not too hard, and there's plenty of them.

A repost.....

Hello, I'm stuck grinding through Novice and am having the same problems as you. As stated earlier, Im using VKs, then stun, blind, intimidate and berserk (& heal). Repeat until mob is done. Anyway, Ive done hunting groups, Raider groups, anything that will drop good xp. So far the most effective (xp/time) is to try and pull Raiders (soloing)from Fort Tusken (only Commoners, Raiders and Snipers)anything higher is too hard. Snipers are pretty rough, so maybe not recommeded. The hard part isnt fighting, its getting one to follow you out the door without him bringin his friends. Usually the entire room will agg, just run for the exit and keep going. Eventually (90% of the time) one will stick with you. This apears time consuming but compared to the disorganization of group hunting, its not bad. The commoners drop ~1100 unarmed xp, Raiders = 1800 xp the Snipers drop around 2400/kill. Its not bad xp but since completeting UA3 thisis the best method i've run across. Theres always inside the fort with a team. GL and send me a tell if your on Kettemoor...

Also there are plenty of Alkrihans (sp?) milling about outside the Fort. The Lts. drop ~900 xp/kill and the Commanders were too tough for me.

The fastest way to get unarmed exp is to find lairs of non-social non-agro mobs that you can kill relatively easily and quickly. The idea is to go for *quantity* over *quality*, so to speak. Minimize your downtime and maximize your kills.

Find lairs that spawn mobs you can kill pretty much non-stop and work the lairs for as many mobs as you can. Quantity will level you faster than quality, although it's not as exciting, i.e. no waiting to heal and no cloning, etc. In other words, killing *more* lower level mobs will gain you more total exp than killing a *few* higher exp mobs in the same amount of time.

These kind of mobs are available on either Tatooine, Naboo and Corellia. I can't tell you specifically which ones to go foras that will keep changing as youadvance, and depends on your weapon (VK) specs., armor, etc. The idea is to find mobs that you can kill non-stop with a minimum of downtime. That means using relatively few special moves so that you don't lower your own HAM bars. And mobs that are not tough enough to damage you significantly. If you have to stop and heal up, you need to find lower level lairs.

If you canbuy adroid or a pet to group with, that will give you the grtoup exp bonus. You can even leave them in town, if you want to, and you'll still get the group bonus. If you can get a medic to group and come with you for the exp and the meat, that gives you someone to group with for the bonus and also lets you take on higher level lairs because you'll be getting healed. The goal remains the same, however. Find mob lairs that you can 'work' non-stop. Avoid the downtime of healing and you'll maximize your exp.

So, basically... Find lower level lairsthat you can worknon-stop and you'll get more exp in the long run than if you go for the highest level mobs you can kill. Group with *something* for the expbonus, if you possibly can. If you're going to be healing yourself, migrate your stats to maximize your mind pool and it's regen spec.so you have less downtime.

Don't forget to have fun along the way.

womprats and variegated womprats will give you about 500xp per kill.
I did mine a different way though:

go out with a group who has tough pets. Once they attack, you then wade in aswell. Try to stay at 5m to get attacked less. You'll get some good xp from the bigger mobs whilst the CH's get their xp too.

The best way do train to TKN is: get some medic skills, buy a bunch of stimpack B's. Group with a pet or a droid and get to tatooine Mos Entha. Now go north and look for a feral bantha lair. They have around 1000-1100 HAM and give 1193 exp when grouped. You only have to watch for their friends, because they help each other and they deadblow. Just use unarmed lunge withour vibro knucklers to get one aggro on you and kill him. When you have scout then you can also harvest herbivore meat which is very valuable for a medic or doc.

When you do it this way you will have TKN in no time. I got unarmed IV to TKN in about 45 min to 1 hour.

Good luck with your training. Greetz Xona.
