Been playing more Soul Calibur II.. maybe it's because the music isn't as boring, the gameplay isn't bugged, and at least it doesn't lag. Dunno.. after this i'm all MMORPG'ed out... I just don't feel like logging in and playing with my characters.. I find no fun in being TEF'ed for no reason and getting killed while i'm afk to the restroom or cheap shotted constantly with infinite knockdowns by a pistoleer.. or maybe getting raided by invincible AT-ST's with no chance of fighting back.. Vehicles are missing and many other things.. i'd love to just suspend my account till these things come back.. but i'm afraid that they're not willing to hold my character, which is a shame..

I feel the same as you. I'm thinking about cancelling as well. I really don't know why I still play.

There is no "point" to this game other than the Galactic Civil War - and since I'm a TKA I have no business in PvP combat.

So the only thing I can do is grind out more XP. Spend all night trying to find mature people to group with, then log out saying "ok only xxx more experience until my next skill".

Some people say "the game is about your interactions with other characters". Hey NEWSFLASH!!! If I wanted to "hang out" with people all night I'll hang out with my friends in RL, not online.

I bought this game because I love Star Wars and thought it would be fun to be a character in the SW universe. But without vehicles, space travel, jedi, etc all I am is a random character in a MMORPG who can't win a fight in PvP.

I keep hoping things will get better but they just get worse. Every week a new patch comes out that changes the rules of engagement. By the time I get used to the new rules - BAM! - they change again.

My 2 cents...

If you are'nt having fun quit. You guys sounds like you are in a bad marriage you can't getout of. This is a game that you choose to play, noone is forcing you to keep playing it.

Even if you decide to quit playing for a few months and come back they usually do not delete your character. I used to play Daoc and I can still reopen my account and play my old character with everything intactThe general rule is 6 months or so and the developer will delete the character, in actuality I have found they will only delete them as a last resort because it is much harder to get someone to return to the game if they have to start from scratch.

Cancel, or do not cancel. There is no thinking about it.

Taepoong, Raam...there is no question what you should do here.

Quit - You'll do everyone still here a favor.

I cancelled once. Friend bagged me to come back so I did. Now I am thinking of cancelling again, its kind of sad that melee is going to be justa reject of the universe. Well maybe I'll wait till WoW comes out, maybe not. Beta starting soon.

Until then I am switching over to commando.
