Lots of people have pointed out the absurdity of a player with a pistol spamming specials with a TKA standing right on his toes. Most people would assume that one of the following would happen:

Lots of people have pointed out the absurdity of a player with a pistol spamming specials with a TKA standing right on his toes. Most people would assume that one of the following would happen:

1) The pistol user would get off a point blank, incredibly damaging shot right at the start. Right in the stomach or some such

OR

2) The TKA would get in a good kick or punch, and the pistol would go flying, or the firing arm would be broken.

The current idea of you shooting and shooting and me kicking and kicking at that range is just, well, dumb. There should be either a disarm special, or all melee attacks should have a % chance to disarm. Rather than causing the weapon to fall to the ground, it would be easy to implement this in the following way:

Son of a ... someone take my keyboard away from me.

Anyway:

- the TKA kicks you and the disarm succeeds.

- the pistol unequips itself from the pistoleer's quickbar. "Friezle has knocked your weapon from your hand!"

- the pistoleer clicks the equip key and gets this message: "You fumble for your weapon for a few seconds " ... (pause) ... then the weapon is reequipped.

What do you folks thinks? IMO the thought of a pistoleer who lets a TKA close to toe-to-toe should be "oops", not "yeah, I still have this guy."

Never bring a gun to a straight-up brawl.

There should be some type of disarming move.

I agree! A disarming move would be great. But, before we get one, let's pre-nerf it so we don't get all excited over something that will get taken away. Let's see...

A disarming move would be great! That's if we could catch someone with a gun.... but in theory if we were close enough to the person I'm all for the idea. It sounds like a great plan!

I mean if you were kicking someone with a gun, you would think it would go flying, or at least be dropped or something.

you know I can post and post and post and no one gets it ... warcry ... use it it works ... might as well be disarm they cant fire at ya for proposed amout of seconds ... with spice or buffs you can run in circles for hours untill you catch them ... or get close enought to use lunge...
