I'm sure most of you have seen that you can put a bleed on a creature/npc (player?)..though thislooks pretty random,I seem to accomplish this mostly while the enemy is KD'ed and I'm using uh2 or uh3 in succession. I can't say I've figured out any formula to this but I've been seeing it alot lately. I was just wondering if anyone has taken the time to figure out what kind of damage the bleed does. I know that by the time the bleed hits it's unlikely that the enemy is getting up anyway so I've never really tested it. Does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure its similar to being bled by a npc. You hit them so hard they just start bleeding.
I have noticed it a few times, but I haven't figured out how to reliably reproduce it.

I noticed this once as well. I was fighting a huurton on Dantooine and saw the bleed icon on it. I was the only one engaged with the dog, so I know it was me. I put the dog in run mode, then just watched the floaty damage to see what the bleed was doing. The bleed did 1 point of action damage. =)

you can't be serious.. with a bleed like that I could solo any mob in merely 15,000-20,000 seconds. Why even have other professions with a weapon like that?

argh giving tka a bleed is suicide. We already pwn enough ass might as well go all the way. Besides it would be realistic since our VK has a "Blade" on it.

But yea I notice it too...it usually happens more when I use a VK. though it doesnt matter to us i guess because we pwn things faster than bleed ever could :-p

I'm not asking for more bleed, my god that would be ludicrous- at that point you might as well term it bloodletting. I'm just stating that the current tka bleed is just way overpowered.

ok, my sarcasm is a little thick here, you get the picture.

I've noticed that my master rifle strafeshot2 will sometimes cause a bleed as well... but it's hitting for more than an unarmed attack, and I've never bothered to let something live long enough to see what it ticks for.

so yeah, I guess normal attacks can cause bleeds... perhaps AP helps this? or specials?

TK's do NOT have bleeds...we have counterattacks.

Pay attention next time this happens to the combat log. If they use a bleed attack or even disease or poison or any debuffs and you happento couterattack it, the bleed, etc is reversed to them. This is what you're seeing. You cannot hit something hard enough to bleed it. I've tested this many many many times and it's the counterattack. Pay attention closer yourself and you'll see it also.
