Thread: Getting to TKA
Greetings, currently on my Alt char on Bloodfin im trying to get TKA with my human brawler. I am currently working on Unarmed 4. I know this has probably been asked lots before but spare a sec pls to tell me where/what i should be killing now and after Unarmed 4 to get to TKA.
Thank you

Well, if you're soloing with no pets and no medic... more of the same really. It's a long hard road to tka.
IMNSHO, unarmed xp from Unarmed 3 to Novice TKA are the most horrible and tedious to gain. I spent weeks going through them. Mostly because i would get bored of taking 1-2 minutes to kill a nuna that i could 1-shot with a sword.
I finally buckled down and managed to get through Unarmed4 by hunting Mountain Worrts on Tatooine, but I had to have my GSP tank those. (CH: 1 2 1 1). If not for that, I'd probably still be struggling through the skill.
Even Scout Trapping skills go faster than unarmed xp at low lvls.
so i cant really afford i pet i guess
Going from unarmed 3 to unarmed 4 I would hunt diseased bocatts on Tatooine. They give about 300 xp a kill and come 6 to a nest. This is the easy part.
Getting unarmed 4 is a LITTLE bit harder, but not much. Go to mos taike and wander around until you find dune banthas, they dont aid each other and your rock beetle will easily tank for you. They give 1k xp a pop. Do this until you have unarmed 4.
When youre going for TKN go to Anchor Head, then run towards Wayfar, along the way youll find random spawns of swarming lesser dewbacks, zucca boars, cu-pa's and greater desert womp rats. Let your pet tank everything and you will be fine. The dewbacks are a bit tricky but with simple strategy such as burst running away youll be fine.
A few side notes:
Use VK's that are speed sliced, dont settle for anything thats above 1.8
Dont use specials, this is me personally but just using berserk1 was good enough, I hit harder and faster
Buy a rock beetle, dont let anyone talk you into a cowardly gurrek, they have less kinetic res than the rock beetle
Invest in at least novice medic, this will let you use good stim b's and keep you in action longer
