To buff myself anywhere, anytime, I needed a med 6 droid. Ibought a probot, in fact I bought 2. I found out they are great for pulling. They shoot targets like a ranged NPC. Best thing is they have medium armor and are not vulnerable to anything, so they tank well. If you get more than 64m away, and tell them to attack, then immediately say follow me, you get our long range pull of packing MOBS tactic. And the MOBsall target the probot so you can peel them as desired. Carry 2 probots (maybe even 3)because they get beat up, they heal slowly, andyou can't buff nor heal them, but they heal damage while stored. They are also great at pulling from a long distance and bringing the MOB right back to you. And they don't draw aggro from nearby reds. Blind, stun, and intimidate the MOBs beating on the probot really makes them last along time. Give a probot a try and get 2 armor segments built in it. I like it a lot and I do not have to carry any ranged weapon for pulling anymore. Probots do negligible damage, 50 ish, so you will do all the damage. They are just tanks to keep the aggro off you. I spent a whole night soloing and took very few wounds.
