With the ability to buff your own stats, what do you have your HAM and secondaries set at? I currently have my stats set at 500/400/400-600/400/400-1100/800/800. I thought this would be a good idea at the time when I was first able to use stat enhancers, but later on I found myself very uncomfortable walking around with low Health & Action bars. As well as it's just a waste to use enhancers if you know you won't be engaging in battle anytime soon. Any TKM/Master Doctors out there have any recommendations?

Your help is appreciated

I just have mine set as (Human)

Health and Action 800/400/400

Mind 1000/600/600

Had tried various setups but if I cannot use doc buffs still can powerboost to get them higher.

Found making health and action lower, really did not help if I was out of buff packs.

This configuration gives me 1200/1200/1500 after powerboost.

I dont usually use VKs so secondary ham costs are small consideration (if I did carry tat sunburn with me anyways), and I carry stim Es so regen on health and action is not that important.

Have left the mind secondaries at the old max values as being able to set them to 1100 is probably a bug. I cannot see them making human suddenly the most configurable species. And expect them to stealth fix it one day. Plus when they were higher it makes very little difference with them set as 800, found it is more advantagous to keep the extra in health and action pools.

I am a Trandoshan. I maxed my Mind, Focus, Willpower, Quickness, and Stamina. I min'd str and const. I split health and action to 650 each. I bought 2 probots with med 6 units and I never leave home not buffed.

Health:

400/400/400

Action:

400/400/400

Mind:

1000/1000/1000

Just don't fight without buffing. Yeah, it's expensive and a pain sometimes since you'll barely be able to take a chuba with these stats unbuffed, but it makes a huge difference when you do.

(Zabrak)

Health: 1000 / Strength: min / Constitution: min

Action: 1000 / Quickness: min / Stamina: min

Mind: 1000 / Focus: min / Willpower: 900 (max)

.... Why? Because spending 15 points in Novice Medic (or having aMedic in the group)precludes the need for anything in Str, Con, Qui, and Sta. Since Mind is the only stat that can't be replenished artificially -- the only thing you can do is literally sit and wait -- I figured I may as well be able to recover it quickly. Throw in a Musician buff and I don't even need a Dancer buff (though I won't refuse one, what with Powerboost out there now).

Between all the Mind buffs available from Dancers, food, drink, and drugs... PLUS the tasty Powerboost ability (oh, and the Zabrak /vitalize)... those stats above actually allow me to tank. I couldn't believe it the first time I tried it, but I actually felt like a viable melee character. The Doctor I hang out with seemed to be now deprived of his primary source of Medical XP (me).

Of course, now he just gets oodles of XP doing his buffs on me and making my stats even higher. I'm no 5k HAM NPC, of course, but now I'm a contender.
