Getting Unarmed IV was hard, getting the 125K xp for novice was hard but boy am I glad I stuck it out. I LOVE TKA.

Man this game has been rediscovered all over again. I'm having a blast with this profession. The balance of speed and power is amazing and wonderful. I'm having so much fun running around just punching and kicking things. I could care less about having uber VK's. I could care less that some fencer with COB can kick my tail. I could care less that ranged combatants can kite me to death. I'm having so much fun I'm kicking myself that I didn't do this sooner. I'm only 1-1-1-2 and I'm loving every minute of it.

I get a set of doc buffs and put on my regular composite and boom I'm off. I love getting aggroed by a group of huurtons and as they run to me I think "yes come to your doom you silly little dogs". Melee combat is so much more fun than ranged combat. I was a 0-4-3-2 BH before I switched and I'm so glad I did. I'm thinking of picking up master Pikeman to go along with TKA because I'm loving that too (except for the fact that I miss so much).

Who cares about PvP uberness, who cares about other professions. I'M having fun and to me that's all that matters.

Wait til you get all the flashy (although useless) moves like combo2 and spinattack2. You'll find yourself gladly giving up damage just to watch the animations. Nothing is as satisfying as applying your foot to your opponent's face.

I to have recently taken up TKA. Right now I am already up to 2-1-3-3. I am finding i also love it. Way better than my first perfession of pistoleer. I still have MCH which is making somewhat easy to get up the ladder, but I plan to dump it and go for doc, or as much Combat Medic I can. Going TKA was definatly the best choice I could make, I love kicking the snot out of things. I must say it doesn't realy fit into Star Wars theme, then again, none of the melee does, but it does rock.

And ya say it doesn't really go with the star wars theme and it may seems like it, but i must say, It's in the story of starwars
Teras Kasi have their place as much as jedi.

I think we're in more sections of the universe than a lot of the other professions. Maybe you read up on teh Teras Kasi online and see just what we're about before you say something like that.

That and I'll quote a guy I heard back when Ralphy made the "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight" comment.

"I believe you make an exception for the glowly swords, yes?"

I recently quit chasing after becoming a BH after I watched two TK's duel in the cantina I was in. I sat there in awe; my jaw hit the ground and in that instant, I knew what I wanted to be.

I immediately surrendered my entire Marksman tree, kept my Master Scout status, and started up the Unarmed branch of the Brawler profession. Two nights ago, I received the title of Teras Kasi Novice and I've been loving it since then.

I've also picked up some Medic skills and plan on getting Master Medic.

Another thing about being a TK.... the whiners are far and few between. Almost every post I've read here on this forum has been a positive one and to me, having a great opinion and outlook on your profession means that you're having alot of fun in game. I've noticed that problems are rationally discussed and not bickered about like bratty children throwing temper tantrums.

I, for one, am very proud to have started along the Teras Kasi path.

I saw a master pikeman in action the other day and my jaw dropped looking at some of his moves as well. After I master TKA I'm moving on to master pikeman. This will fulfill my dream of having two melee professions. TKA for all around badness and pikeman to dish out the damage.

Oh and TKA's are all over the expanded universe. They are like the anti Jedi.

I'm all for BH being SWG Jedi hunters and will always support that profession (once a BH always a BH. Once you do investigation you will always stick up for that profession. .. .trust me) but in the EU the style of Teras Kasi was basically developed to counter the Jedi Knights (or dark Jedi or whatever)

I am loving this stuff. THough I must say that without my buffs the HAM cost of my special attacks would make me cry.

Oh yeah TKA rocks. Powerboost on and I let the guy I was hunting with wet himself as I just ran into a group of like 10 dune lizards and pounded them into mulch. Granted there was a FoW and a few heals in there, but I did it and came out alive, barely.

Hey Atimes, I too was a BH (2/4/4/4) and I dropped it to go TKA. I enjoy it much more that waiting on shuttles 90% of my playtime. No offense to the BH'ers out there, I just didnt have the patience to grind the entire Investigation tree. I hold the utmost respect for those of you who have made it to MBH. Anyway, Im now 4/2/4/4 TKA and having a blast once again.

You summed up my view completely. I was a dancer and I saw a good TKA really take a beating to someone in the cantina. I told myself it would be so cool if I could do that. Well I am now 2 4 3 2 TKA and I have given up entertainer. I am also 0 3 2 2 Doc.

I have never had so much fun in this game. Also I have only lost 1 PVP fight since I started and that was only because I thought the guy was incapped and I stopped to DB. Bounty hunters are our bread and butter, I have never lost to one. I also took out a Master TKA when I was 2 2 3 2, I don't know how hehe. I have been playing the game since release and since TKA I have been in heaven.

I never wear my TKA title. I love sneaking up behind someone in PVP and taking them out. In PVP you just have to pick your battles and use a good macro. Bounty Hunters go down really fast.I beat a Master Bounty hunter in a duel at 0 1 1 0.
