TKM is a great profession I must admit, especially upclose. But any BH/Carbineer or Rifleman can own us at 40+ meters. Swordsman and Fencers can basically do the samethings we can, and more in the case of the Swordsman who owns any turret or AT-ST. Or how about the God Fencer/Pistoleer/Smuggler templates who can take on 3 or 4 TKAs and still win if they're buffed? So, why are we getting these cries for nerf when our profession is working properly? We're good upclose, but not unbeatable. Why don't they ask the DEVs for their specials too work too? That's the problem with crying nerf, it isn't that we're too good, it's that almost everyone else profession is broken.

They are whining that we are overpowered because we are the base profession for most uber pvp templates. Most stuff that people are killed by aren't JUST tka skills. They get warcried for 20 seconds or kd'd from 20m and complain that tka are overpowered, even though it's not our skill. Somebody masters fencer and tka and gets uber melee/ranged defense and uses tka for pvp most of the time, and people complain that we have too high of defenses. They just speak before they understand.

That is what people do. They complain. We have something they don't have (a mostly working profession with good damage output) and they either want if for themselves or don't want anyone to have it. I have seen it before between Rangers and BH. From my biased side this is how I see their debate (off topic, but proves my point). BH have traking droids. They currently don't work well. Rangers have NPC and PC (as well as creature) tracking that works pretty nicely. Since the BH droids don't work, they say Rangers should not have tracking of humanoids and that the BH should have it. Like I said, if one prefession is broken and another works, people either want the working skills for themselves, or for no one to have them.
(DISCLAIMER: Not all BH want this, it is jsut easier to say "they" than "a few of the BH")

they are all newbs. TKM is fine, the other melee professions just need some love. perhaps a broad nerf of dizzy kd across all professions is in order as well.
