Actually the NK-Executer I think is better then the Power Hammer. Very Low SAC good Damage and +11 to Two Handed Speed . Once they fix smuggler and you get a good slice on the Sword it will rock so much.

As I've been reading and thinking I decided that the only real reason for MDoc is for Rez and to focus a lot more on healing. If you want to deal good damage AND be a pretty darn good Doc I'd aim for TKM, Doc 4004 (or 4000 or 0004) and then get as much Sword as you can.

With TKM, Doc 4004 you get more Sword specials to help you deal more damage and still keep good Doc.

TKM, Doc 4000 or 0004 you can get Master Sword and get all the Sword damaging effects including a PH.

Those are the templates I'm currently deciding between. I was MDoc/TKM for years prior to the CU changes but don't see the value anymore. TKM lost it's offensive capabilities and in order to survive you have to deal damage! So losing MDoc becomes a requirement.....sigh.

If you decide to stay MDoc/TKM - aim for the Armor Break tree (0030 I believe) and either Head Hit or Power Hit if you can - I don't remember the point spread there. If you say one treeI think you can get 0130 or 1030.

Thanks for the posts...I am new to the threads, I have read 'em alot in the past.

I'll have to think about dropping Master Doc...hmmm.

Also where I get one of those swords you spoke of that is better than the hammer? Is it one that should be ADK'ed or just sliced...when Smuggs are fixed?

Lookin for some opinions....I am TKM / Master Doc and am going to go up four boxes in swords for added damage....which ones would be good.

BTW I have always hated thet a Master Swordsmans best weapon is a hammer WTH...it makes em look like construction workers (I got nothin' against construction workers BTW)

I have a question I like the 4040 doc idea but what part of medic should you take just the prerequisites? or what?

Well two things: There is a great discussion on this topic in Swords : http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=swordsman&message.id=65044

Did you mean Doc 4004? For Doc the first tree is Healing and the fourth tree is buffs. I believe the third tree is poison related...

As for Medic - you just need Medic 4040 to get Novice Doc. The fourth tree of Medic is only necessary if you wish to craft. The second tree of Medic is to get you to Novice Combat Medic. So if you wish to be an all-around healer and want Doc and CM skills you need Medic 4440. If you just wantthe Doc heals and/or buffs you only need Medic 4040. I haven't seen where Master Medic helps enough to "waste" the skill points unless you have no plans to attack anything and just want to heal and craft.

Reading the above post link will give you a lot more information on options some of us have discussed recently.

I was master doc tkm prior to the cu, and I had a little scout to get meat/hides for my chef tailor. Post cu I had to get rid of scout but wanted to keep tkm, like not wearing armor, and master doc since I enjoy it. I went and ground out swords x/x/4/x for the extra defense and better armor break. This gives me 260 melee and 215 ranged defense. accuracy and speed arent that great but with speed buff from doc I do ok. I can do three or four lvl 82's pretty easy, though minds getting pretty low on the last one. The hardest things ive soloed probably are the elite mobs in ryatts trail bottom level. I can take two of them, but without food im hurting on mind at the end of the second one.
I think master docs will be in higher demand once publish 19 comes out and they pump up the healing of docs and cm's.

imho i think tkm/master doc with either 2002 swords for maxed offense on tkm, youll get power attack and critical, the improved versions arent worth getting just one, if you get two youll help out your tkm alot cause youll be able to hit harder then with your usual moves and have two moves to use and make things faster in combat, however i liked 2020 for mine to get armor break and sword flurry to increase your defense by 120 hehe i won many duels with that combo in fact not a single non jedi beat me while i had it, heals too powerful and the defense astronomical, and i wasnt even using innate armor, hehe imagine if i was, hehe
