I'd get the first balance conditioning box first as that'll give you Improved Center of Being. After that I'd say either stick with the Balance Conditioning boxes to 4 or go Power Techniques to 4 but either way get both those lines first before you go for Meditation as those 2 will give you your Innate Armor and by the time you finish both of those and are 0440 you'll have +40 Innate Armor. Doesn't matter which you do for first either so long as you get the Balance Conditioning box 1 first, the Balance Conditioning line gives you more defense and the Power Techniques line gives you more damage and speed.

Way back in the days of old (pre-CU :smileytongue
, I was told to go up Power first, then Balence, then Meditation. You get the last line (Precision Striking) with Combat XP, so you'll fill that while filling the other 3 trees.
I don't know about now, I had TKM since my respec days, so I don't know if the above suggestion will work nowadays.

Essentially that's still true, it just depends on which you want more of first, Defense or Damage/Speed. It also depends on if you're fighting with a weapon or not as the Damage boost won't help you any but the speed will and the defense is helpful in general.
