Thread: New Melee char needs a little template advice

I recently made a Master Pikes/MTKA toon.. my problem is.. should i go master brawler for the added bonuses and 0440 medic.. or remain MPike/MTK and go 4000 doctor. .I'm looking for survivability as well as tanking and grinding my way to jedi. I just want to be as effective as possible on my way there.


Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.. Thx in advance

I would go with 4000 doctor. The healing is much better and will improve more with the next update. The only thing that beats being a great tank is being able to heal when needed. With all the defenses in the world there will still be times you need to heal.

Having MBrawler in it's current form is nothing more than a title for newbs to gain. The skills gained are outclassed by using the same points in just about any elite profession. Riposte and Melee Assault as the two abilities are not at all impressive once you have any elite profression's novice block. Also, as mentioned above, Doc healing line is going to get a serious upgrade in the very near future, so increasing your survivability will come best through that line.

4000 doc it will be your savior in many ways, the mods from brawler are useless, get doc healing is the key
