Thread: An improved and advanced version of CoB?

Right now one of my main problems with teras kasi is that I have to stop to be able to use CoB. It gets really anoying when I'm chasing after a kiter, and I have to stop to be able to use center of being. This gets really bad in areas where there is a lot of lag,the sever doesn't think you've stopped moving yet, and I end up having to hit CoB several times before it stops clunking and showing that red thing. I also don't think that one of the most powerful and unique things in teras kasi should be located 1 box away from novice, which makes teras kasi into moreof a support proffesion.


If they kept improved CoBat x1xx (it would benerfed a bit though), and made an advanced version at master that didn't require you to stop moving,I think that it would make teras kasi muchless of a support proffesion as it currently is.


They way it would work out is (this is just what I think would work well, the devs probably won't use my exact numbers):


Improved CoB: +375 to def and has a warm up timer

Advanced CoB: +500 to def and has no warm up timer (and maybe +20 to innate armor?)


Please post your thoughts on this, and any suggestions you have.

So...I get +500 to defenses, no warm timer, and +20 to innate armor? Broken...utterly.

Any advanced version of COB will still keep the warm up timer. It has to...you are concentrating on not getting hit, right? A +500 to defenses is nice, and 60 seconds of that will be good. Let's not muck with innate armor too much...as it is, it's free armor.

Think about it...the TKM needs nothing from anyone. We do not need doctors to heal wounds. We do not need armor to fight effectively. We do not need weapons for we are the weapon. Once BF gets tossed out the airlock, we'll never have downtime longer than it takes to regen our HAM bars.

Do jedis need to stop moving to get their +500 defence thing as we do ?

Yeah I was a bit puzzled that the best skill of Teras Kasi is located so far down .



On the other hand, Parry Reposte doesn't have a Warm-up timer. Of course, that's in Master Brawler.

It makes sense in an in-character way.

The problem is that client-server disagreement (i.e. lag) can cause you to be stopped on the client side, but the server will refuse to let you apply COB because the server has not registered that you have stopped. Thus you can do everything right and have COB fail.

Unless they fix the lag, the "full stop" requirement is more than a little annoying.
