Thread: Stat question
Armor reduces secondary stats (i.e. Health encumberance reduces Strength and Constitution, not Health), so you might reduce your primary HAM pools a bit and up your secondaries. Actually, here's a good article about armor: http://www.bloodfin.org/modules/wfsection/article.php?articleid=106. No idea what you know about armor, so forgive me if i'm referring you to something you already know.
A few things to consider:
1. Primary HAM takes less damage, so it's ok to reduce primary HAM pools if you're planning on wearing armor a lot.
2. The reduced SQF does affect the HAM cost for using specials, but there is a cap on HAM costs so even if you go into negative SQF, your special attack HAM costs will stop going down after a certain point. For example,12 Strength is the same Health cost as something around 153 Strength.
3. It's usually best to throw specials without armor, so the armor damage reduction needs to br high enough to offset the reduced damage you're doing.
4. Ubese armor is very popular with TKs because of the relatively low Action encumberance, and there are materials now appearing for Advanced Ubese.
Good Luck!
