Ok my holocron told me to master Teras Kasi and i heard from alot of people that it is a pain in the ass.

So im a trandoshan ( spelling? ) which is a good thing after all.

But i'm looking for some advice here for some certain things,

1> What tree should i go up first?

2> What are the best attack(s) to take out a target fast..

3> Best mobs to kill? Looking for 4-5k exp per kill, prefer mission terminal mobs...

4> Best attribute setting?

I own 3 graul maulers so i can let those tank for me, thats all i can think of atm if you have more tips let me know.

Thanks,

Getting to TKM is easy...only takes 2 steps:

1-Kill 8 million creatres
2-Train for TKM

Seriously man...experiment...everyone has a different preference. Some people love meditate, some hate it. Some real advice:

NPCs are easier than creatures in my opinion. Look for no armor and low kinetic resits. Buy good VKs and powerups for the beginning (you can kill NPCs on Lok looking for advanced Vibromotors to build and uber TKA). Most people go Balance 1 for KD, then meditate, cause Power Boost is the best (as is stopping poison and disease)....one of the lines comes for free cause it uses combat XP.

I usually initiate combat with intimidate and warcry, then I do a KD and a series of debuffs (dizzy, blind, stun)...which keeps the target down most of the time. HAM costs for specials are high with the VKs enabled, so make sure you have buffs, food, or spice. Then special away until the target is dead. As a 2222TKA I can solo Graping Spider Hunters with Powerboost and food or spices for 4500XP each.

No matter how you slice it, or what other people claim on this board, it is a long haul. I find that XP comes faster in group hunts on advanced planets...less downtime for healing and stuff.

My system was:

1) Getting Doctor Buffs to all Six Stats

2) Heading to Dantooine.

3)Picking up two Huurton Stalker Missions in the same direction.

4) Killing all Huurtons and Pikets along the way to missions. Method of doing this was pulling one at a time with Rock Beetle (takes practice). When they got within 3m I would equip VK and do War Cry + KD (12s on the Ground) and spam UH2. I would kill all five Pikets or Huurtons or whatever the random spawn was and wait for the subsequent spawns. When spawn was dead, I would continue onto mission.

5) Finish mission and head to the next mission, killing Pikets and Huurtons along the way. I would then finish this mission and head back to the outpost, killing Pikets and Huurtons along the way. By this time, the buffs would be wearing and I would head back to Coronet to get new buffs or log for the evening.

Rough XP Gains with this method were 100 to 150k Per Hour with Few Boxes in TK and 200 to 250k Per Hour with Many Boxes in TK.

Oh and I migrated all my stats completely over to mind to compensate for the Doctor Buffs. This allowed minimum downtime. Itrained in Balance Ifirst and then went up the Power Tech Tree. The speed cap of 1s seems to be reached with Power 3 and a 2.2s VK.

train power 1 and balence 1 first that way you have dizzy and KD then go after Humaniods pirates etc etc

dizzy + KD = easy XP

dizy+kd humanoids is the easiest xp IMO. If you're really tricky with tuskens you can KD them while they're holding their rifles, dizzy em and you get 2.5x dmg from the rifle usage + 50% more on top of that from the KD.

As a smuggler/pistoleer working on TK I could charge the tuskens lowblow, panicshot and get in for the dizzy1 before they got up. Then hit em for 4k with UH2.

On my way to TKM I did the first blocks in power and balance, then mastered Meditation. The wound healing thing cannot be understated. As a melee guy you will take tons. And my new best friend PowerBoost is pretty darn useful as well, both are meditation skills. I then mastered power and finished up with balance and I was pretty successful with this method. I really don't think it matters too awfully much which ones you pick first. Look at all the skill lines and figure out what skills you want and go for those blocks first then finish up.

--Power Tech First!!! I mean go like 1 box in balance for kd then rest in power, after that hit med to lvl 2 to get powerboost then back over to balance. I stopped at balace 2 for the unarmed toughness increase then finished up Med first. The wound healing saves you so much time in the wilds its just priceless, then I finished up balance. The KD+Dizzy at balance 4 is nice but since it doesnt work on animal npc's it has limited usefullness. Anyway good luck on it and maybe after you get to master you'll keep it even if ur nxt holo says diff hehe, TK is one of the funnest professions in this game.
