Swordsman 4/0/4/0
Pikesman 0/0/4/0
Medic 2/0/1/0

I'm wondering, for anyone who has done this.. Does the extra melee and range defense pay off? and does having a KD defense of 95 keep you standing? How effective is having all the extra defenses.. It would be a big investment, and a long time to do it, but I need something to do

Just wondering if this templet would work well enough to work hard for.

short answer: 'yes' with an 'if'; long answer: 'no' with a 'but'...

defensive mods stack. they don't always prevent the status effect, sometimes they just shorten the duration of it. as far as melee and ranged defense go, well, i have +89 melee defense right now (tkm and 1002 fencer) and in a fight with 3 viscious haf duns, i was hit 17 times, missed 26 times, and evaded 2 times. soon i will be harder yet to hit

there is one big problem that i see, though... you have 0 skill points left, so you cannot get a terrain negotiation mod. this is not a problem if you are perpetually grouped with a squad leader, but i personally find any travelling to be a pain in the butt with no terrain negotiation. you have a choice, you can get medic and some +injury treatment, or scout and some +terrain negotiation. i personally would rather have both... but that's just me.

I would skip the Pikeman and put that in scout exploration instead.

Thanks for the feedback

I'm having so much fun with TKA that after mastering it, i'm gonna have a lot more fun doing the others. Melee is just so much more fun than ranged it's silly..
