First, I'd like to apologize if this has been answered already, but I couldn't find anything in the FAQ about it.

If I activate CoB, then equip a non-brawler weapon (a pistol in my case), will I still receive the defense bonuses of CoB?

As TKA bit hard to test, as it does not seem to all right now.

Or if it does, itseems do nothing apart from use part of your mind pool so you can get incapped faster as far as I have noticed.
