To start the only professions that had the ability to resist melee damage were melee professions. But now that other professions are getting mitigation and were getting left with our regular toughness skill mod, which was supposed to be one of the only advantages for melee. I feel with ranged professions getting this we should get an increase in our current mitigation skill mods.
