Thread: something I noticed while working up 1-handed

I don't know if it's been brought up before (or if this is only happening to me), but after mastering TK, I decided to work towards fencer.

One thing I've noticed today, was that while I very rarely (read: 1 in 100 hits) dodge/evade/etc while fighting unarmed, I was evading maybe 1 in 7 attacks tonight while using a sword. This would make perfect sense if I was already into the fencer skills, but I haven't reached novice yet.

Itlooks likewhatever modifiers affect thataren't quite working while fighting unarmed, but seemed to have no problems kicking in when I had another melee weapon equipped, even tho I haven't gotten high enough in that profession to gain them.

As I said, it may already be a known fact or I just may be some freaky anomoly, but this is what I'm observing.

That's what a fencer is all about. has nothing to do with TKA.

in fencing- if ya get hit, ya lose. Makes sense to me. In martial arts- ya get hit, ya keep goin. Makes sense to me.
