Thread: Just Got TKA Master on Valcyn
Hey All...just wanted to announce I finally hit master after about 2 weeks of non-stop grinding...I only play a few hours a night, so if I played all day I could have probably crunched it out if a week...
Some folks are probably grumbling at that thinking "oh great, another one to muddle up our ever growing population and at the same time bragging on how quick or easy it was"....I am not saying that TKA is over powered or easy to Master...I've seen some other posts that give that impression and I wanted to set something straight...I was able to progress fast thanks to my seconday professions combined with TKA...TKA is NOT over-powered or easy...in fact it was a heck ofa grind (got lucky last night with 2 fambaa nests spawning next to each other...almost 200K in xp by the time I finished them both)...and I'm tired of people saying "Hey look at that guy...He's way over powered...NERF TKA" when they don't even take into account that they don't know what my secondary skills are...I had some nice Melee Defense from Master Commando, a nice Flame Dot to get me out of Jams, some good medical skills to heal during battle, etc...Just because I am Mastered TKA, does not mean TKA makes me a Tank...it's TKA combined with other skills that did the job...if those NERF blowers want TKA NERF'd...then they have to NERF all the secondary professions that give us any boosts...
Just thought I'd share some thoughts....
TKA in some ways is harder to level than others.
I died many many times over on the road to master.
On the plus side, once you hit tka novice you can generally take on things that give decent xp to anybody, and you can do them solo where as the pistoleers may need a pet.
I can't wait!
