Like melee defense, dodge etc?

Check the fencer forum forn an Excellent in-depth post on this question. But the short answer is - Class specicific skills like dodge, block, counterattack, and defensive acuity Do Not stack cross proffresion unless it is the ranged corresponding proffession ( Ie fencer/pistol and so on , although i have heard they may be changing this) , also other general defense mods Do stack, such as melee defense, ranged defense, combat equilibrium, and the def vs whatever state. So there's the short answer for ya.

melee defense does, and dodge does, but since when using a vibro knuckler, or unarmed you do not use the skill dodge, it dosn't come in to play.

If there was another class with defense acuity then you could stack that and use it with tka, but there isn't so ya can't.

What he's saying is in order for dodge to work, you must be using the weapon of a profession who has dodge as one of their class traits, which tka doesn't. You WILL get dodge mods, but only if you are holding a fencer or pistoleer weapon, not a vk. To clarify everything, dodge DOES stack for two professions who have the dodge trait as a native mod. So, if you are fencer and pistoleer, dodge will stack...for now.
