Correct me if I'm wrong but Powerboost used to boost HAM by 1/2 your Mind stat and this included buffs

So why doI only get 550 buff when my base is 1100 and I down two brandies that boost 800 more

instead of the 950 buff I'm stuck with 550.

I've not read anywhere about this.

Can anyone enlighten me? I've just leveled a 2nd character to Master musician/dancer thinking I'll get a total mind before powerboost of 3000 but seems that powerboost has been serverly degraded.

power boots just count your base mnd as without buffs

Its been like this since at least January(when I started tka) I think this change has been in effect since Vehicles were introduced.

We really need an updated FAQ here on this board because, while 90% of the information is correct, the rest is outdated(the FAQ was put together last fall I believe).

PB takes into account your base Mind and ignores any food/spice/entertainer buff I'm afraid. It's been like this since.. er.. as long as I can remember, actually.

Yep, you're wrong. I've been a TKM since powerboost actually was nerfed and resulted in hundreds of mind wounds and It was always based off your base mind stat.

No, that's incorrect. Powerboost used to take into account mind buffs when doubling the mind. If you had 2000 mind (from a buff) and then powerboosted you would end up with 3000 mind. It hasn't been like this for months though, before january if I were to venture a guess, more like december or november. Maybe it was january, but it definately use to take into account mind buffs. This is not a recent change however.

I think it was changed back in the oct patch. My Twi masterd TK in late oct early nov and it was like that back then. I do recall seeing others before that though that would get a dancer buff, eat some fishak/bivoli then a muon then power boost for 5k mind.

Powerboost only uses your base mind, minus wounds. If you have 1000 mind and 100 mind wounds you get a 450 point buff.
