Here is a few issues i will cover aswell but the main one i am on about.

1.There is 2 many dabblers in tka especcialy in the combo 4004 or mainly 4. i feel that to stop this we should keep the meditate tree on the like 4 but move the skills such as (Powerboost) and specially (force of will)

This is becuase alltho tka is very good and i am not really trying to complain here, but everyone basicly has an advantage over tka apart from the likes of doctor tkas.

See this example a tkm and doctor and say a tka dabbler 4000 has got one of the main futures of tka and he only used a small amount of points and he could b using a dont know say fencer and he has a unique advanatage alltho u did choose doctor just say its anotha use commando and tka u can dabble without using hardly any points and then dabble on defence in fencer

2.Damage type yes and no we should and we shouldnt get 1, yes in the way that we basicly need 1 because of the so so high kinetic resistance but if we do get 1 that basicl means we can solo 2 many things i am a doctor myself but i basicly think we shold coz am biost ) but we shouldnt because if we did that means we r not hunting in groups and to kill (nightsisters and others) you should have 2 be in groups

3.Also how i have chosen doc with tkm this is a main thing i would say. Many people r doc/tka i think and that is y they all want an extra damage type so then can solo a lot better but that then creates an unfair advantage on all the people that dont go doc and go say tkm/fencer and then they can use fencer to get them down and then start tka once the armor starts dropping the resists

So in conclusion i dont think we should get a new damage type but rather have lower resists or be able to study an opponent and then find a weakness but this should be a big advantage only a advantage so we can do a small amount of damage to keep it fair.

Or if we do get a damage type i would say something that has roughly 50% resists so we r not overpowwered still

please give me feedback and sorry for the typing i am in a hurry and i cant type to save mylife

There is one fundamental flaw in your argument:

No one is required to Master TKA in the first place. Therefore, an argument that a Dabbler has an advantage over you cannot be construed as being correct. You have the same opportunity that Dabbler has to be able to be on an even ground.

Personally, I disagree that a Dabbler necessarily has an advantage, it all comes down to what your tactics and equipment are.

One of the great strengths of this game (and also one of the great wekanesses unfortunately) is that you can dabble. The problem is not with limiting dabblers as much as it is in making mastery of a profession worthwhile.

Instead of wanting to hurt those who choose to dabble, why not look for ways to improve the profession overall and give incentive to master? Not only would it be more constructive, but it would (if we could just get everyone to cooperate) also help to put an end to "nerf cries."

On the second damage type: this is something that has been proven that this community is divided on, we will only be able to wait and see what happens on this subject I am afraid. I personally feel that we should not have access to another damage type, but at the same time there are many well-thought out ideas as to why certain types would make sense, and if the Developers decided that we would get another type I could stand behind one of them easily.

Hopefully I came across as Ii intended, as I truly would like to see a major incentive in every profession to reach master, but I do not think looking for ways to stop dabbling is the answer.

No longer holding out hope, SWG will never be the game we fought so hard for, that we believed so much in. Farewell friends.

Please tell me you're not a native speaker of the English language!?

Its simple. The devs gave everyone 250 skill points to use however the player chooses. The end. Buh buy now.

I come at this thread from an opposite direction.

I recall seeing this sort of thing in the CH thread back before the big patch. Proclaimations that there were too many dabblers and someone should do something about all these Master Commandos with just enough CH to call a graul mauler (which was pretty tough before that patch). I had planned on going all the way to MCH so I was on that side (silently since I still have the same position I note below) of that particular discussion.

Now I'm MCH, got to MBE and spent the rest of my points getting TK skills. I went up the balance line first wanting the ability to knockdown. Given where I've put my points your arguments to move powerboost and the other meditate skills doesn't directly affect me but I'm on the dabbler side this time.

Why not let people put their points where they want and if they only go part way up some professions then so be it. Why does everyone have to go for master in everything they even start?

(better grammar and spelling would make your post easier to read, I didn't wade my way all the way through it)
(yup, tried again and it's just too painful to even *try* to read, and I wouldn't think a non-native speaker would substitute letters for words that way)

It had long been my position that the trouble wasn't with the CH profession itself, but was with the Graul family of creatures. If they had just fixed that particular type of creature, they probably wouldn't have needed to redo the entire tree.

Creature handing is a unique feature to CH's. To get the full power of it you have to master the profession.

Same with meditate. Sure, you can get the first 4 tiers of it without mastering the entire profession, but you're missing out on the master skills. I think that's more than fair, in a skillpoint based system, rather than a class-based system.
